Now King David was told,“ The Lord has blessed the household of Obed- Edom and everything he has, because of the ark of God.” So David went to bring up the ark of God from the house of Obed- Edom to the City of David with rejoicing.

King David was told,“ The Lord has blessed the family of Obed- Edom. He has also blessed everything that belongs to him. That’s because the ark of God is in Obed- Edom’s house.” So David went down there to bring up the ark. With great joy he brought it up from the house of Obed- Edom. He took it to the City of David.

And it was told King David,“ The Lord has blessed the household of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom to the city of David with rejoicing.

Then King David was told,“ The Lord has blessed Obed edom’s household and everything he has because of the Ark of God.” So David went there and brought the Ark of God from the house of Obed edom to the City of David with a great celebration.

And it was told king David, saying, Jehovah hath blessed the house of Obed- edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. And David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed- edom into the city of David with joy.

And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that[ pertaineth] unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.

David was told,“ The LORD has blessed the family of Obed-Edom and everything he owns because of the ark of God.” So David went and joyfully brought the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David.

King David was told,“ Yahweh has blessed the house of Obed- Edom, and all that belongs to him, because of God’s ark.” So David went and brought up God’s ark from the house of Obed- Edom into David’s city with joy.

And whoever gives just a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is a disciple— I assure you: He will never lose his reward!”

David, the elders of Israel, and the commanders of thousands went with rejoicing to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of Obed-edom.While the Levites were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, with God’s help, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.Now David was dressed in a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who were carrying the ark, as well as the singers and Chenaniah, the music leader of the singers. David also wore a linen ephod.So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouts, the sound of the ram’s horn, trumpets, and cymbals, and the playing of harps and lyres.As the ark of the covenant of the Lord was entering the city of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from the window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.They brought the ark of God and placed it inside the tent David had pitched for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings in God’s presence.When David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.Then he distributed to each and every Israelite, both men and women, a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake.

At that time Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, all the tribal heads and the ancestral leaders of the Israelites before him at Jerusalem in order to bring the ark of the Lord’s covenant from the city of David, that is Zion.

David built houses for himself in the city of David, and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it.Then David said,“ No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the Lord has chosen them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister before Him forever.”David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem to bring the ark of the Lord to the place he had prepared for it.
