And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him.

David became more and more powerful. That’s because the Lord God who rules over all was with him.

那時候，亞比米勒和他的將軍非各對亞伯拉罕說：「凡你所做的事，神都與你同在。

然而，義人要持守所行的道，手潔的人要力上加力。

萬民哪，任憑你們行惡，終必毀滅；遠方的眾人哪，當側耳而聽！任憑你們束腰，終必毀滅；你們束起腰來，終必毀滅。任憑你們籌算甚麼，終必無效；不管你們講定甚麼，總不成立；因為神與我們同在。

既是這樣，我們對這些事還要怎麼說呢？神若幫助我們，誰能抵擋我們呢？

他的政權與平安必加增無窮。他必在大衛的寶座上治理他的國，以公平公義使國堅定穩固，從今直到永遠。萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。

但義人的路好像黎明的光，越照越明，直到正午。

當諸王在位的時候，天上的神必另立一個永不敗壞的國度，這國度必不歸給其他百姓，卻要打碎滅絕所有的國度，存立到永遠。你既看見非人手鑿出來的一塊石頭從山而出，打碎鐵、銅、泥、銀、金，那就是至大的神把將來要發生的事給王指明。這夢是確實的，這解釋也是準確的。」
