David answered Rekab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite,“ As surely as the Lord lives, who has delivered me out of every trouble,

David gave an answer to Rekab and his brother Baanah. They were the sons of Rimmon from Beeroth. David said,“ The Lord has saved me from every trouble.

But David said to Recab and Baanah,“ The Lord, who saves me from all my enemies, is my witness.

Then the king vowed and said,“ As the Lord lives, who has redeemed my life from all distress,

The angel who has redeemed me from all evil, Bless the boys; And may my name live on in them, And the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; And may they grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”

This wretched man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.

Into Your hand I entrust my spirit; You have redeemed me, Lord, God of truth.I hate those who devote themselves to worthless idols, But I trust in the Lord.I will rejoice and be glad in Your faithfulness, Because You have seen my misery; You have known the troubles of my soul,

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to You; And my soul, which You have redeemed.

The Lord redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt.

The redeemed of the Lord shall say so, Those whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears And rescues them from all their troubles.

Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion;

So He saved them from the hand of one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fully accomplished, and that all the Gentiles might hear; and I was rescued out of the lion’s mouth.The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
