The king swore an oath and said,“ As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my life from every difficulty,

the angel who has redeemed me from all harm— may he bless these boys. And may they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they grow to be numerous within the land.

This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him from all his troubles.The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and rescues them.

Into your hand I entrust my spirit; you have redeemed me, LORD, God of truth.I hate those who are devoted to worthless idols, but I trust in the LORD.I will rejoice and be glad in your faithful love because you have seen my affliction. You know the troubles of my soul

My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to you because you have redeemed me.

The LORD redeems the life of his servants, and all who take refuge in him will not be punished.

Let the redeemed of the LORD proclaim that he has redeemed them from the power of the foe

The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and rescues them from all their troubles.

He redeems your life from the Pit; he crowns you with faithful love and compassion.

He saved them from the power of the adversary; he redeemed them from the power of the enemy.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that I might fully preach the word and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.The Lord will rescue me from every evil work and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever! Amen.
