David answered Rekab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite,“ As surely as the Lord lives, who has delivered me out of every trouble,

David gave an answer to Rekab and his brother Baanah. They were the sons of Rimmon from Beeroth. David said,“ The Lord has saved me from every trouble.

the angel who hath redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

This poor man cried, and Jehovah heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles.The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, And delivereth them.

Into thy hand I commend my spirit: Thou hast redeemed me, O Jehovah, thou God of truth.I hate them that regard lying vanities; But I trust in Jehovah.I will be glad and rejoice in thy lovingkindness; For thou hast seen my affliction: Thou hast known my soul in adversities;

My lips shall shout for joy when I sing praises unto thee; And my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; And none of them that take refuge in him shall be condemned.

Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, Whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

The righteous cried, and Jehovah heard, And delivered them out of all their troubles.

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will save me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
