何況惡人在義人家裏將他殺在床上，我現在哪有不從你們手裏討流他血的罪，而將你們從地上肅清呢？』

何况恶人将义人杀在他的床上，我岂不向你们讨流他血的罪、从世上除灭你们呢？”

更何况恶人把义人杀在他家的床上，我岂不从你们手中追讨他的血，从地上除灭你们吗？”

況惡人入義者之室、殺之於牀、我豈不討其血於爾、絕爾於地乎、

況爾行惡、入義者之家、殺之於床、我豈不罰爾罪、絕爾於地乎。

況爾惡人、入無辜者之家、殺之於床、我豈能不討其血於爾手、滅爾於地乎、

How much more— when wicked men have killed an innocent man in his own house and on his own bed— should I not now demand his blood from your hand and rid the earth of you!”

Now you evil men have killed a man in his own house. He hadn’t done anything wrong. You killed him while he was lying on his own bed. You spilled his blood. So shouldn’t I spill your blood? Shouldn’t I wipe you off the face of the earth?”

How much more, when wicked men have killed a righteous man in his own house on his bed, shall I not now require his blood at your hand and destroy you from the earth?”

How much more should I reward evil men who have killed an innocent man in his own house and on his own bed? Shouldn’t I hold you responsible for his blood and rid the earth of you?”

How much more when wicked men kill a righteous man in his own house on his own bed! So now, should I not require his blood from you and purge you from the earth?”

因為那討罰流人血之罪的、他記掛着無辜人；他忘不了困苦人的哀叫。

實在的，流你們的血、流你們性命之血的罪，我總要討罰的；我要向各樣走獸討罰：向人的手、向每一個人兄弟的手、討罰那害人性命的罪。『使人流血的、人也必使他流血；因為上帝造人、是按上帝自己的形像造的。

惟獨惡人總會從應許之地被剪除；背信的必從其上被扯走。

願這些罪不斷在永恆主面前，使他的遺跡都從地上被剪滅；

上帝就對挪亞說：『凡有血肉的，我決定要結束他們的生命了，因為全地都因了他們而滿有強暴；看吧，我要把他們、連全地、都毁滅。

如今我儘可以伸手用瘟疫擊打你和你的人民，你就從這地被抹除了。

永恆主啊，你不是從亙古就有麼？我的上帝、我的聖者啊，你是不死的。永恆主啊，你派定他們以施判罰，磐石啊，你設立他們以行譴責。

地開了口，從你手裏收取了你兄弟的血了；如今你，你是受咒詛、須離開這地的。

水把地上的眾生、從人類到獸類、到爬行動物、以及空中的飛鳥、都擦滅了；他們都從地上被擦滅。只有挪亞和那些同他在樓船裏的、得存活，

因此律法僵化，公理總不出現。因為惡人圍困着義人，故此公理就使出現、也彎曲了。

永恆主要使約押流人血的罪歸到他自己頭上，因為他用刀殺掉了兩個比他又義又好的人、就是以色列的軍長、尼珥的兒子押尼珥、和猶大的軍長、益帖的兒子亞瑪撒，將他們殺死，我父親大衛卻不知道。

押尼珥回到希伯崙，約押領他轉到城門的甕洞裏，彷彿要和他說機密話的樣子，就在那裏刺透他的五臟，他便死了：這是為他兄弟亞撒黑報血仇的。

你們要對他們這麼說：『那沒有造天造地的神必從地上、從天下、被除滅。』

我、我雖然受膏為王，今日還是柔弱；洗魯雅的兒子這些人比我強；願永恆主照惡人所行的壞事報應行壞事的人就是了。』

故意殺人的就是犯死罪的、你們不可收贖價去代替他的命；他必須被處死。那逃到逃罪城的人、你們不可為他收贖價、使他在大祭司未死以前再來住本地。這樣，你們就不至於使你們所在之地成了俗污，因為血能使地成了俗污；若有在地上流人血的，非流那殺人者的血，那地之被血染就不能得潔除。你們所住的地、就是我所居於其中的、你們不可使它蒙不潔，因為我永恆主居於以色列人中間。』

義人在惡人面前退讓，好像踹渾的泉源、踏濁的水源。
