May God punish Abner and do so severely if I don’t do for David what the Lord swore to him:

愿上帝重重惩罚押尼珥！我要照着耶和华起誓应许大卫的话为他成就，

倘若我不照着耶和华应许大卫的誓言把扫罗的江山夺过来交给大卫，让他统治全以色列和犹大，从但到别示巴，愿耶和华重重地惩罚我！”

我若不按着耶和华向大卫所起誓应许的去行：废去扫罗家的王国，建立大卫的王位，使他统治以色列和犹大，从但直到别是巴，愿神降罚押尼珥，重重地降罚他。”

我如果不照著耶和華向大衛所起的誓為大衛去行——從掃羅家挪去王權，確立大衛的寶座，使他統治以色列和猶大，從但直到比爾-謝巴——就願神處置押尼珥，重重地處置他！」

耶和華曾與大衛誓、我必為大衛成其事、否則願上帝罰我維倍、

昔耶和華誓、移掃羅國祚、立大闢為王、治以色列族與猶大族、自但及別是巴、今我亦將助之、否、則願上帝降罰於我。

我押尼珥若不循主所誓於大衛者、為大衛而行、則願主從重罰我、

May God deal with Abner, be it ever so severely, if I do not do for David what the Lord promised him on oath

I will do for David what the Lord promised him. If I don’t, may God punish me greatly.

God do so to Abner and more also, if I do not accomplish for David what the Lord has sworn to him,

May God strike me and even kill me if I don’t do everything I can to help David get what the Lord has promised him!

May God punish Abner and do so severely if I don’t do for David what the LORD swore to him:

May God do so to me, and more so, if as the Lord has sworn to David, I do not accomplish this for him:

May God do so to Abner, and more also, if I do not do for David as the Lord has sworn to him—

God do so to Abner, and more also, if, as Jehovah hath sworn to David, I do not even so to him;

So do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;

God will severely judge Abner if I do not do for David exactly what the LORD has promised him,

God do so to Abner, and more also, if, as Yahweh has sworn to David, I don’t do even so to him;

Samuel said to him,“ The Lord has torn the kingship of Israel away from you today and has given it to your neighbor who is better than you.

So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying,“ May the gods punish me and do so severely if I don’t make your life like the life of one of them by this time tomorrow!”

The numbers of the armed troops who came to David at Hebron to turn Saul’s kingdom over to him, according to the Lord’s word, were as follows:

Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May Yahweh punish me, and do so severely, if anything but death separates you and me.

The Lord has done exactly what He said through me: The Lord has torn the kingship out of your hand and given it to your neighbor David.

Saul declared to him,“ May God punish me and do so severely if you do not die, Jonathan!”

The Lord said to Samuel,“ How long are you going to mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go. You are to anoint for Me the one I indicate to you.”Samuel did what the Lord directed and went to Bethlehem. When the elders of the town met him, they trembled and asked,“ Do you come in peace?”“ In peace,” he replied.“ I’ve come to sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrate yourselves and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and said,“ Certainly the Lord’s anointed one is here before Him.”But the Lord said to Samuel,“ Do not look at his appearance or his stature, because I have rejected him. Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.”Jesse called Abinadab and presented him to Samuel.“ The Lord hasn’t chosen this one either,” Samuel said.Then Jesse presented Shammah, but Samuel said,“ The Lord hasn’t chosen this one either.”After Jesse presented seven of his sons to him, Samuel told Jesse,“ The Lord hasn’t chosen any of these.”Samuel asked him,“ Are these all the sons you have?”“ There is still the youngest,” he answered,“ but right now he’s tending the sheep.” Samuel told Jesse,“ Send for him. We won’t sit down to eat until he gets here.”So Jesse sent for him. He had beautiful eyes and a healthy, handsome appearance. Then the Lord said,“ Anoint him, for he is the one.”So Samuel took the horn of oil, anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and the Spirit of the Lord took control of David from that day forward. Then Samuel set out and went to Ramah.

Then they came to urge David to eat bread while it was still day, but David took an oath:“ May God punish me and do so severely if I taste bread or anything else before sunset!”

And tell Amasa,‘ Aren’t you my flesh and blood? May God punish me and do so severely if you don’t become commander of the army from now on instead of Joab!’”

“ What was the message He gave you?” Eli asked.“ Don’t hide it from me. May God punish you and do so severely if you hide anything from me that He told you.”

Once and for all I have sworn an oath by My holiness; I will not lie to David.His offspring will continue forever, his throne like the sun before Me,like the moon, established forever, a faithful witness in the sky.” Selah

The Lord said,“ I have made a covenant with My chosen one; I have sworn an oath to David My servant:‘ I will establish your offspring forever and build up your throne for all generations.’” Selah

May God punish me and do so severely if I let any of his men survive until morning.”

You once spoke in a vision to Your loyal ones and said:“ I have granted help to a warrior; I have exalted one chosen from the people.I have found David My servant; I have anointed him with My sacred oil.
