他把埃亚的女儿利斯巴为扫罗所生的两个儿子亚摩尼、米非波设和扫罗女儿米拉为米何拉人巴西莱的儿子亚得列所生的五个儿子交给基遍人。基遍人在耶和华面前把他们七人吊死在山上，那时正好是收割大麦的时候。扫罗的嫔妃、埃亚的女儿利斯巴在一块磐石上用麻布搭了一座棚看尸。她白天不让飞鸟靠近，夜间不容野兽走近，从开始收割大麦，一直守到降下雨来。大卫知道这件事以后，

亚希多弗说：“你父亲留下几个妃嫔看守宫殿，你要跟她们同寝，叫所有的以色列人知道你与父亲誓不两立，这样支持你的人会更坚定。”于是，他们便为押沙龙在殿顶盖了一座帐篷，他就当着所有以色列人的面与父亲的妃嫔同寝。

拔示芭说：“请将书念女子雅比莎赐给你哥哥亚多尼雅为妻。”所罗门王回答说：“为何只为亚多尼雅求书念女子雅比莎呢？你也为他求整个国家吧！他是我哥哥，又有亚比亚他祭司和洗鲁雅的儿子约押支持。”

将你主人的家业和妻妾交给你，把以色列和犹大的国权赐给你。倘若还不够，我会再加倍地赐给你。

他说：“请你求所罗门王将那书念女子雅比莎赐我为妻，他不会拒绝你。”
