我雖然被膏立為王，今天卻軟弱；這些人——洗魯雅的兒子們強硬得令我作難。願耶和華照著惡人所行的惡，報應惡人！」

我雖受膏為王、今猶荏弱、而西魯雅之二子、桀驁不馴、願耶和華視惡人之罪戾、而報施焉。

我始受膏為王、今尚荏弱、此西魯雅二子強於我、願主循惡人所行之惡而報之、

And today, though I am the anointed king, I am weak, and these sons of Zeruiah are too strong for me. May the Lord repay the evildoer according to his evil deeds!”

I’m the anointed king. But today I’m weak. These sons of Zeruiah are too powerful for me. May the Lord pay back the one who killed Abner! May he pay him back for the evil thing he has done!”

And I was gentle today, though anointed king. These men, the sons of Zeruiah, are more severe than I. The Lord repay the evildoer according to his wickedness!”

And even though I am the anointed king, these two sons of Zeruiah— Joab and Abishai— are too strong for me to control. So may the Lord repay these evil men for their evil deeds.”

As for me, even though I am the anointed king, I have little power today. These men, the sons of Zeruiah, are too fierce for me. May the LORD repay the evildoer according to his evil!”

And I[ am] this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah[ be] too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.

此血必永歸約押、及其苗裔之首、惟綏安由耶和華、永歸大衛、暨其苗裔、與家及國、耶何耶大子比拿雅、遂往擊斃之、葬於其第、在於曠野、

境內惡人、我每晨必殄之、作慝之輩、必絕於耶和華之邑兮、

銅工亞力山大多方害我、主將依其行而報之、

願爾按其所為、與其惡行而罰之、依其手所作、及所應受者而報之兮、

昔洗魯雅子約押、所行於我、殺以色列軍長二人、尼珥子押尼珥、益帖子亞瑪撒、於綏安之日、流戰鬥之血、以染所束之紳、所著之履、爾所知也、當循爾智而行、不容其白首安然歸墓、

大衛曰、我子所羅門尚冲弱、為耶和華建室、必極壯麗、聲譽榮光、播於萬國、故我必為之備、於是大衛未死之先、儲材豐盛、○

王升鞫位、瞠目而視、諸惡消散、

約押入宮覲王曰、今日爾僕拯爾、及爾后妃子女之命、爾乃使之赧顏、惡爾者、爾反愛之、愛爾者、爾反惡之、今日明示、牧伯臣僕、於爾無足介意、我知若押沙龍生存、而我儕咸死、爾乃懽悅矣、今爾當起而出、以言慰藉爾僕、否則我指耶和華而誓、今夕必無一人偕爾、此禍較爾自幼所遭者尤甚、

謂士師曰、慎爾所行、蓋爾聽訟非為人、乃為耶和華、爾行鞫時、耶和華與爾偕焉、當寅畏耶和華、慎爾所為、因我上帝耶和華無不義、不偏視、不受賄也、

謂之曰、爾其謹慎靜謐、勿因此餘燼、有煙之二炬、利汛亞蘭、及利瑪利子之烈怒、畏懼心怯、

亦告亞瑪撒曰、爾非我之骨肉乎、如爾不代約押為軍長、恆在我前、願上帝罰我維倍、

蓋彼為上帝之役、以益爾、爾若行惡則畏之、以其非徒佩劍、乃為上帝役、以怒加諸行惡者、

惡者之角、我必折之、義者之角、必高舉兮、

主歟、慈惠亦屬爾、爾依人所行而報之兮、

其毒害必歸己首、其強暴必臨己頂、

擊人死者、殺無赦、

六子阿鮮、七子大衛、其姊妹乃洗魯雅、亞比該、洗魯雅生亞比篩、約押、亞撒黑三人、

去王前之惡人、其位乃以義而立、
