And David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Please let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难！我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯。我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫对迦得说：“我很为难。我们宁愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫对迦得说：“我很为难。我们宁愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯；我不愿落在人的手里。”

大卫说：“我实在为难！不过我宁愿落在耶和华的手中，也不愿落在人的手中，因为耶和华有无限的怜悯。”

大卫对迦得说：“我非常为难，我们情愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯。不要让我落在人的手里。”

大衛對迦得說：「我甚為難！我願落在耶和華的手裏，因為他有豐盛的憐憫。我不願落在人的手裏。」

大衛對迦得說：『我非常為難；讓我們落在永恆主手裏吧，因為他有豐盛的憐憫；可別讓我落在人手裏呀。』於是大衛選擇了瘟疫。那些日子正是收割麥子的日子。

大衛對迦得說：「這使我非常為難！還是讓我們落在耶和華手中吧，因為他有豐盛的憐憫；請不要讓我落在人的手中。」

大衛曰、我處窘迫之境、耶和華矜恤維大、願陷於其手、勿陷於人手、

大闢曰我迫阨甚矣耶和華矜憫為懷、願陷於其手、勿陷於人手。

大衛謂迦得曰、我窘迫已極、或作我甚愁戚我願陷於主手、因主大施憐憫、不願陷於人手、

David said to Gad,“ I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into human hands.”

David said to Gad,“ I’m suffering terribly. Let us fall into the hands of the Lord. His mercy is great. But don’t let me fall into human hands.”

Then David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Let us fall into the hand of the Lord, for his mercy is great; but let me not fall into the hand of man.”

“ I’m in a desperate situation!” David replied to Gad.“ But let us fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is great. Do not let me fall into human hands.”

David answered Gad,“ I have great anxiety. Please, let us fall into the LORD’s hands because his mercies are great, but don’t let me fall into human hands.”

Then David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Let us now fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into human hands.”

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of Jehovah; for his mercies are great; and let me not fall into the hand of man.

David answered Gad,“ I have great anxiety. Please, let us fall into the Lord’s hands because His mercies are great, but don’t let me fall into human hands.”

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies[ are] great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

David said to Gad,“ I am very upset! I prefer that we be attacked by the LORD, for his mercy is great; I do not want to be attacked by men!”

David said to Gad,“ I am in distress. Let us fall now into Yahweh’s hand; for his mercies are great. Let me not fall into man’s hand.”

Great are Your tender mercies, O Lord; Revive me according to Your judgments.

Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions.

But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

A righteous man regards the life of his animal, But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him,“ Alas, my master! What shall we do?”

And He gave them into the hand of the Gentiles, And those who hated them ruled over them.Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were brought into subjection under their hand.

And David said to Gad,“ I am in great distress. Please let me fall into the hand of the Lord, for His mercies are very great; but do not let me fall into the hand of man.”

But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.

And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

So he prayed to the Lord, and said,“ Ah, Lord, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.

I was angry with My people; I have profaned My inheritance, And given them into your hand. You showed them no mercy; On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily.

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

Therefore the Lord his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria. They defeated him, and carried away a great multitude of them as captives, and brought them to Damascus. Then he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who defeated him with a great slaughter.For Pekah the son of Remaliah killed one hundred and twenty thousand in Judah in one day, all valiant men, because they had forsaken the Lord God of their fathers.Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, killed Maaseiah the king’s son, Azrikam the officer over the house, and Elkanah who was second to the king.And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand women, sons, and daughters; and they also took away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.But a prophet of the Lord was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out before the army that came to Samaria, and said to them:“ Look, because the Lord God of your fathers was angry with Judah, He has delivered them into your hand; but you have killed them in a rage that reaches up to heaven.

Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days.So Jehoahaz pleaded with the Lord, and the Lord listened to him; for He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.Then the Lord gave Israel a deliverer, so that they escaped from under the hand of the Syrians; and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents as before.Nevertheless they did not depart from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who had made Israel sin, but walked in them; and the wooden image also remained in Samaria.For He left of the army of Jehoahaz only fifty horsemen, ten chariots, and ten thousand foot soldiers; for the king of Syria had destroyed them and made them like the dust at threshing.

When the men of Israel saw that they were in danger( for the people were distressed), then the people hid in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in holes, and in pits.

The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.

“ Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say?‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

I am exceedingly angry with the nations at ease; For I was a little angry, And they helped— but with evil intent.”

Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.
