And afterward David’s heart struck him, because he had cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”

Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me.
