My dynasty is approved by God, for he has made a perpetual covenant with me, arranged in all its particulars and secured. He always delivers me, and brings all I desire to fruition.

我家之於上帝、非若是乎、彼與我立永約、諸事堅定、救我之事、及我所望、彼豈不成之乎、

蒙上帝佑、吾裔必若是、彼與我立約、約已定擬、恆久不移、我望乎此、以得拯救、今雖未得、終必成之。

我家於天主前、豈非若是、天主與我立約、於諸事堅定穩固、恆久不廢、一切救我之事、與我一切所願者、主豈不成之乎、

“ If my house were not right with God, surely he would not have made with me an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part; surely he would not bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire.

“ Suppose my royal family was not right with God. Then he would not have made a covenant with me that will last forever. Every part of it was well prepared and made secure. Then God would not have saved me completely or given me everything I longed for.

“ For does not my house stand so with God? For he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and secure. For will he not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?

“ Is it not my family God has chosen? Yes, he has made an everlasting covenant with me. His agreement is arranged and guaranteed in every detail. He will ensure my safety and success.

Is it not true my house is with God? For he has established a permanent covenant with me, ordered and secured in every detail. Will he not bring about my whole salvation and my every desire?

Is my house not indeed so with God? For He has made an everlasting covenant with me, Properly ordered in all things, and secured; For will He not indeed make All my salvation and all my delight grow?

“ Although my house is not so with God, Yet He has made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things and secure. For this is all my salvation and all my desire; Will He not make it increase?

Verily my house is not so with God; Yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things, and sure: For it is all my salvation, and all my desire, Although he maketh it not to grow.

Is it not true my house is with God? For He has established an everlasting covenant with me, ordered and secured in every detail. Will He not bring about my whole salvation and my every desire?

Although my house[ be] not so with God; yet he hath made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all[ things], and sure: for[ this is] all my salvation, and all[ my] desire, although he make[ it] not to grow.

Isn’t my house so with God? Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure, for it is all my salvation, and all my desire, although he doesn’t make it grow.

Pay attention and come to me! Listen, so you can live! Then I will make an unconditional covenantal promise to you, just like the reliable covenantal promises I made to David.

For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.His dominion will be vast and he will bring immeasurable prosperity. He will rule on David’s throne and over David’s kingdom, establishing it and strengthening it by promoting justice and fairness, from this time forward and forevermore. The LORD’s intense devotion to his people will accomplish this.

I will become his father and he will become my son. When he sins, I will correct him with the rod of men and with wounds inflicted by human beings.But my loyal love will not be removed from him as I removed it from Saul, whom I removed from before you.Your house and your kingdom will stand before me permanently; your dynasty will be permanent.’”

I will make a lasting covenant with them that I will never stop doing good to them. I will fill their hearts and minds with respect for me so that they will never again turn away from me.

But I, the LORD, make the following promise: I have made a covenant governing the coming of day and night. I have established the fixed laws governing heaven and earth.Just as surely as I have done this, so surely will I never reject the descendants of Jacob. Nor will I ever refuse to choose one of my servant David’s descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Indeed, I will restore them and show mercy to them.”

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain,

I will always extend my loyal love to him, and my covenant with him is secure.I will give him an eternal dynasty, and make his throne as enduring as the skies above.

But regarding the fact that he has raised Jesus from the dead, never again to be in a state of decay, God has spoken in this way:‘ I will give you the holy and trustworthy promises made to David.’

I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow.So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth.

Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ,

For I, the LORD, love justice and hate robbery and sin. I will repay them because of my faithfulness; I will make a permanent covenant with them.

A shoot will grow out of Jesse’s root stock, a bud will sprout from his roots.

I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be a perpetual covenant with them. I will establish them, increase their numbers, and place my sanctuary among them forever.

The time is coming when Jacob will take root; Israel will blossom and grow branches. The produce will fill the surface of the world.

“ In that day I will rebuild the collapsing hut of David. I will seal its gaps, repair its ruins, and restore it to what it was like in days gone by.

He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended.

I have asked the LORD for one thing– this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple.

The LORD said,“ I have made a covenant with my chosen one; I have made a promise on oath to David, my servant:

For this reason the sovereign master himself will give you a confirming sign. Look, this young woman is about to conceive and will give birth to a son. You, young woman, will name him Immanuel.

But he refused to listen to her. He overpowered her and humiliated her by raping her.

Then I will raise up for myself a faithful priest. He will do what is in my heart and soul. I will build for him a secure dynasty and he will serve my chosen one for all time.

King David went in, sat before the LORD, and said,“ Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my family, that you should have brought me to this point?

When the time comes for you to die, I will raise up your descendant, one of your own sons, to succeed you, and I will establish his kingdom.He will build me a house, and I will make his dynasty permanent.I will become his father and he will become my son. I will never withhold my loyal love from him, as I withheld it from the one who ruled before you.I will put him in permanent charge of my house and my kingdom; his dynasty will be permanent.”’”

I desperately long for your deliverance. I find hope in your word.

Solomon did evil in the LORD’s sight; he did not remain loyal to the LORD, like his father David had.Furthermore, on the hill east of Jerusalem Solomon built a high place for the detestable Moabite god Chemosh and for the detestable Ammonite god Milcom.He built high places for all his foreign wives so they could burn incense and make sacrifices to their gods.

Now, as certainly as the LORD lives( he who made me secure, allowed me to sit on my father David’s throne, and established a dynasty for me as he promised), Adonijah will be executed today!”King Solomon then sent Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and he killed Adonijah.

Absalom instructed his servants,“ Look! When Amnon is drunk and I say to you,‘ Strike Amnon down,’ kill him then and there. Don’t fear! Is it not I who have given you these instructions? Be strong and courageous!”

Whom do I have in heaven but you? I desire no one but you on earth.My flesh and my heart may grow weak, but God always protects my heart and gives me stability.

O God, you are my God! I long for you! My soul thirsts for you, my flesh yearns for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.Yes, in the sanctuary I have seen you, and witnessed your power and splendor.Because experiencing your loyal love is better than life itself, my lips will praise you.

and followed the advice of the younger ones. He said,“ My father imposed heavy demands on you; I will make them even heavier. My father punished you with ordinary whips; I will punish you with whips that really sting your flesh.”

Joab replied,“ I will not wait around like this for you!” He took three spears in his hand and thrust them into the middle of Absalom while he was still alive in the middle of the oak tree.

At that time the crops given by the LORD will bring admiration and honor; the produce of the land will be a source of pride and delight to those who remain in Israel.

Please forgive the sin of your servant, for the LORD will certainly establish the house of my lord, because my lord fights the battles of the LORD. May no evil be found in you all your days!

You must obey all I command you to do, follow my instructions, do what I approve, and keep my rules and commandments, like my servant David did. Then I will be with you and establish for you a lasting dynasty, as I did for David; I will give you Israel.

Now Adonijah, son of David and Haggith, was promoting himself, boasting,“ I will be king!” He managed to acquire chariots and horsemen, as well as fifty men to serve as his royal guard.

So now the sword will never depart from your house. For you have despised me by taking the wife of Uriah the Hittite as your own!’
