说：“耶和华啊，这三个人冒死去打水；这水好像他们的血一般，我断不敢喝。”如此，大卫不肯喝。这是三个勇士所做的事。

说：“耶和华啊，我绝不做这事！这三个人冒生命的危险，这不是他们的血吗？”大卫不肯喝这水。这是三个勇士所做的事。

说：“耶和华啊，我绝不做这事！这三个人冒生命的危险，这不是他们的血吗？”大卫不肯喝这水。这是三个勇士所做的事。

说：“耶和华啊！这三人冒死去打水，这些水就像是他们的血，我决不能喝！”因此，大卫不肯喝。这是三勇士的事迹。

曰、主歟、此三人冒死不顧、往汲此水、無異其血、我斷不敢飲之、如是大衛不飲此水、此三勇士所為如是、

“ Far be it from me, Lord, to do this!” he said.“ Is it not the blood of men who went at the risk of their lives?” And David would not drink it. Such were the exploits of the three mighty warriors.

“ Lord, I would never drink that water!” David said.“ It stands for the blood of these men. They put their lives in danger by going to Bethlehem to get it.” So David wouldn’t drink it. Those were some of the brave things the three mighty warriors did.

and said,“ Far be it from me, O Lord, that I should do this. Shall I drink the blood of the men who went at the risk of their lives?” Therefore he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.

“ The Lord forbid that I should drink this!” he exclaimed.“ This water is as precious as the blood of these men who risked their lives to bring it to me.” So David did not drink it. These are examples of the exploits of the Three.

David said,“ LORD, I would never do such a thing! Is this not the blood of men who risked their lives?” So he refused to drink it. Such were the exploits of the three warriors.

and he said,“ Far be it from me, Lord, that I would do this! Should I drink the blood of the men who went at the risk of their lives?” So he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.

And he said,“ Far be it from me, O Lord, that I should do this! Is this not the blood of the men who went in jeopardy of their lives?” Therefore he would not drink it. These things were done by the three mighty men.

And he said, Be it far from me, O Jehovah, that I should do this: shall I drink the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.

David said,“ Lord, I would never do such a thing! Is this not the blood of men who risked their lives?” So he refused to drink it. Such were the exploits of the three warriors.

And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this:[ is not this] the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.

and said,“ O LORD, I will not do this! It is equivalent to the blood of the men who risked their lives by going.” So he refused to drink it. Such were the exploits of the three elite warriors.

He said,“ Be it far from me, Yahweh, that I should do this! Isn’t this the blood of the men who risked their lives to go?” Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.

“‘ I will set my face against any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who eats blood, and I will cut them off from the people. (niv)

And as for us, why do we endanger ourselves every hour? (niv)

“ But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it. (niv)

He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight. (niv)

The people of Zebulun risked their very lives; so did Naphtali on the terraced fields. (niv)

“ Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares:‘ I promised that members of your family would minister before me forever.’ But now the Lord declares:‘ Far be it from me! Those who honor me I will honor, but those who despise me will be disdained. (niv)

This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. (niv)

But the Lord forbid that I should lay a hand on the Lord’s anointed. Now get the spear and water jug that are near his head, and let’s go.” (niv)

But Naboth replied,“ The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” (niv)

“ Far be it from me!” Joab replied,“ Far be it from me to swallow up or destroy! (niv)

“ This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them. (niv)

Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves,“ How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”Jesus said to them,“ Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. But Joseph said,“ Far be it from me to do such a thing! Only the man who was found to have the cup will become my slave. The rest of you, go back to your father in peace.” (niv)

“ God forbid that I should do this!” he said.“ Should I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives?” Because they risked their lives to bring it back, David would not drink it. Such were the exploits of the three mighty warriors. (niv)
