大衛渴想着說：『啊，誰能將城門旁邊伯利恆井的水給我喝啊！』

大衛心中渴望，說：「誰能把伯利恆城門旁水窖裡的水帶來給我喝啊！」

大衛歆羨曰、深願有人由伯利恆門側之井、汲水以飲我、

大闢不勝欣羨、曰、伯利恆邑門之側有井焉、甚欲汲其水以飲。

大衛曰、伯利恆城門側之井、我慕其水、誰願往汲、予我飲之、

David longed for water and said,“ Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!”

David longed for a drink of water. He said,“ I wish someone would get me water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem.”

And David said longingly,“ Oh, that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem that is by the gate!”

David remarked longingly to his men,“ Oh, how I would love some of that good water from the well by the gate in Bethlehem.”

David was extremely thirsty and said,“ If only someone would bring me water to drink from the well at the city gate of Bethlehem!”

And David had a craving and said,“ Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem which is by the gate!”

And David said with longing,“ Oh, that someone would give me a drink of the water from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”

And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beth- lehem, which is by the gate!

David was extremely thirsty and said,“ If only someone would bring me water to drink from the well at the city gate of Bethlehem!”

And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which[ is] by the gate!

David was thirsty and said,“ How I wish someone would give me some water to drink from the cistern in Bethlehem near the gate!”

David longed, and said,“ Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”

但是喝了我所赐的活水，永远不会再渴。我所赐的水要在他里面成为生命的泉源，涌流不息，直到永生。”

耶稣回答说：“要是你知道上帝的恩赐，又知道向你要水喝的是谁，你早就求祂了，祂也早就把活水给你了。”

上帝啊，我的心切慕你，像鹿切慕溪水。我心里渴慕上帝，渴慕永活的上帝，我何时才能去朝拜祂呢？

节期最后一天，也是整个节期的高潮，耶稣站起来高声说：“人若渴了，可以到我这里来喝。

我要用水浇灌干渴之地，使河流滋润干旱之土。我要用我的灵浇灌你的后裔，使我的福泽临到你的子孙。

他们中间有一群乌合之众贪恋从前的食物，以色列人也哭着说：“要是有肉吃多好啊！还记得在埃及的时候，我们不花钱就可以吃鱼，还有黄瓜、西瓜、韭菜、葱和蒜。

“贫穷困苦的人找不到水喝，他们口干舌燥。但我耶和华必应允他们的呼求，我——以色列的上帝不会撇弃他们。

我的心迫切渴慕你的拯救，你的话语是我的盼望。

上帝啊，你是我的上帝，我迫切地寻求你！在干旱荒凉之地，我的心渴慕你，渴慕你！
