我們倚靠神才得施展大能，因為踐踏我們敵人的就是他。

你是那拯救君王的；你是那救僕人大衛脫離害命之刀的。

所以，我要使他與位大的同分，與強盛的均分擄物。因為他將命傾倒，以致於死；他也被列在罪犯之中。他卻擔當多人的罪，又為罪犯代求。

參孫到了利希，非利士人都迎着喧嚷。耶和華的靈大大感動參孫，他臂上的繩就像火燒的麻一樣，他的綁繩都從他手上脫落下來。

約拿單對拿兵器的少年人說：「我們不如過到未受割禮人的防營那裏去，或者耶和華為我們施展能力；因為耶和華使人得勝，不在乎人多人少。」

我還有末了的話：你們要靠着主，倚賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。要穿戴神所賜的全副軍裝，就能抵擋魔鬼的詭計。因我們並不是與屬血氣的爭戰，乃是與那些執政的、掌權的、管轄這幽暗世界的，以及天空屬靈氣的惡魔爭戰。所以，要拿起神所賜的全副軍裝，好在磨難的日子抵擋仇敵，並且成就了一切，還能站立得住。所以要站穩了，用真理當作帶子束腰，用公義當作護心鏡遮胸，又用平安的福音當作預備走路的鞋穿在腳上。此外，又拿着信德當作盾牌，可以滅盡那惡者一切的火箭；並戴上救恩的頭盔，拿着聖靈的寶劍，就是神的道；靠着聖靈，隨時多方禱告祈求；並要在此警醒不倦，為眾聖徒祈求，

亞蘭王的元帥乃縵在他主人面前為尊為大，因耶和華曾藉他使亞蘭人得勝；他又是大能的勇士，只是長了大痲瘋。

約書亞一時殺敗了這些王，並奪了他們的地，因為耶和華－以色列的神為以色列爭戰。

那日，耶和華使以色列人得勝，一直戰到伯‧亞文。

我們原不是傳自己，乃是傳基督耶穌為主，並且自己因耶穌作你們的僕人。

耶和華使他們在以色列人面前潰亂。約書亞在基遍大大地殺敗他們，追趕他們，在伯‧和崙的上坡路擊殺他們，直到亞西加和瑪基大。
