纯洁的人，你以纯洁待他；心术不正的人，你以计谋待他。

对清洁的人，你显出你的清洁；对狡诈的人，你显出你的机巧。

清潔的人，你以清潔待他；乖僻的人，你以彎曲待他。

純潔的人，你以純潔待他；心術不正的人，你以計謀待他。

對清潔的人，你顯出你的清潔；對狡詐的人，你顯出你的機巧。

對純潔的人，你顯出純潔；對悖謬的人，你還以其道；

清潔者應以清潔、乖戾者應以拂逆、

潔者爾酬以潔、逆者爾反以逆。

清潔者、主循其清潔以待之、邪曲者、主循其邪曲以待之、

to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.

To those who are pure you show that you are pure. But to those whose paths are crooked you show that you are clever.

with the purified you deal purely, and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.

To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.

with the pure you prove yourself pure, but with the crooked you prove yourself shrewd.

With the one who is pure You show Yourself pure, But with the perverted You show Yourself astute.

With the pure You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.

With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward.

with the pure You prove Yourself pure, but with the crooked You prove Yourself shrewd.

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.

You prove to be reliable to one who is blameless, but you prove to be deceptive to one who is perverse.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

“‘ If by these things you won’t be turned back to me, but will walk contrary to me,then I will also walk contrary to you; and I will strike you, even I, seven times for your sins.I will bring a sword upon you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant. You will be gathered together within your cities, and I will send the pestilence among you. You will be delivered into the hand of the enemy.When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight. You shall eat, and not be satisfied.“‘ If you in spite of this won’t listen to me, but walk contrary to me,then I will walk contrary to you in wrath. I will also chastise you seven times for your sins.

Now I know that Yahweh is greater than all gods because of the way that they treated people arrogantly.”

But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.

If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, YAHWEH your God,then Yahweh will make your plagues and the plagues of your offspring fearful, even great plagues, and of long duration, and severe sicknesses, and of long duration.He will bring on you again all the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they will cling to you.Also every sickness and every plague which is not written in the book of this law, Yahweh will bring them on you until you are destroyed.

With the pure, you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

Woe to him who strives with his Maker— a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth! Shall the clay ask him who fashions it,‘ What are you making?’ or your work,‘ He has no hands?’
