對純潔的人，你顯出純潔；對悖謬的人，你還以其道；

清潔者應以清潔、乖戾者應以拂逆、

潔者爾酬以潔、逆者爾反以逆。

清潔者、主循其清潔以待之、邪曲者、主循其邪曲以待之、

to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.

To those who are pure you show that you are pure. But to those whose paths are crooked you show that you are clever.

with the purified you deal purely, and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.

To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.

with the pure you prove yourself pure, but with the crooked you prove yourself shrewd.

With the one who is pure You show Yourself pure, But with the perverted You show Yourself astute.

With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward.

with the pure You prove Yourself pure, but with the crooked You prove Yourself shrewd.

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.

You prove to be reliable to one who is blameless, but you prove to be deceptive to one who is perverse.

With the pure you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

‘ And if by these things you are not reformed by Me, but walk contrary to Me,then I also will walk contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times for your sins.And I will bring a sword against you that will execute the vengeance of the covenant; when you are gathered together within your cities I will send pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.When I have cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall bring back your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.‘ And after all this, if you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me,then I also will walk contrary to you in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods; for in the very thing in which they behaved proudly, He was above them.”

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The Lord shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel!

“ If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD,then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues— great and prolonged plagues— and serious and prolonged sicknesses.Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you.Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed.

“ Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms it,‘ What are you making?’ Or shall your handiwork say,‘ He has no hands’?
