潔者爾酬以潔、逆者爾反以逆。

清潔者、主循其清潔以待之、邪曲者、主循其邪曲以待之、

to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.

To those who are pure you show that you are pure. But to those whose paths are crooked you show that you are clever.

with the purified you deal purely, and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.

with the pure you prove yourself pure, but with the crooked you prove yourself shrewd.

With the one who is pure You show Yourself pure, But with the perverted You show Yourself astute.

With the pure You will show Yourself pure; And with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.

With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward.

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.

You prove to be reliable to one who is blameless, but you prove to be deceptive to one who is perverse.

With the pure you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.

The pure in heart are blessed, for they will see God.

“ If in spite of these things you do not accept My discipline, but act with hostility toward Me,then I will act with hostility toward you; I also will strike you seven times for your sins.I will bring a sword against you to execute the vengeance of the covenant. Though you withdraw into your cities, I will send a pestilence among you, and you will be delivered into enemy hands.When I cut off your supply of bread, 10 women will bake your bread in a single oven and ration out your bread by weight, so that you will eat but not be satisfied.“ And if in spite of this you do not obey Me but act with hostility toward Me,I will act with furious hostility toward you; I will also discipline you seven times for your sins.

Now I know that Yahweh is greater than all gods, because He did wonders when the Egyptians acted arrogantly against Israel.”

But as for those who turn aside to crooked ways, the Lord will banish them with the evildoers. Peace be with Israel.

“ If you are not careful to obey all the words of this law, which are written in this scroll, by fearing this glorious and awesome name— Yahweh, your God—He will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and terrible and chronic sicknesses.He will afflict you again with all the diseases of Egypt, which you dreaded, and they will cling to you.The Lord will also afflict you with every sickness and plague not recorded in the book of this law, until you are destroyed.

“ Woe to the one who argues with his Maker— one clay pot among many. Does clay say to the one forming it,‘ What are you making?’ Or does your work say,‘ He has no hands’?
