耶和华啊，你是向江河发怒吗？你乘着得胜的战车而来，是向江河生气吗？是向海洋发怒吗？你拿出弓，要射出许多箭羽。（细拉）你以江河分开大地。群山看见你就战栗，大雨倾盆，深渊翻腾，波浪滔天。

祂的鼻孔冒烟，口喷烈焰和火炭。

摩西向海伸出手，耶和华便整夜用强劲的东风吹退海水，将海底变成干地。海水分开后，以色列人踏着干地走入海中，海水如两道墙立在他们左右。法老的军兵车马紧追不舍，都跟着下到海中。到了破晓时分，耶和华从云柱火柱中俯视埃及军队，扰乱他们的队伍。祂使他们战车的轮子脱落，难以前行。于是，埃及人说：“我们逃命吧，因为耶和华在帮助以色列人对付我们！”耶和华对摩西说：“你向海伸出手，使海水回流，淹没埃及军队。”天刚亮的时候，摩西向海伸出手，海水便复原。埃及人纷纷向岸上逃命，耶和华却使大水把他们卷回海中。

祂斥责红海，海就干了，祂带领他们走过深渊，如履干地。

说，‘你到此为止，不可越界；你狂傲的波涛要停在这里。’

大海看见他们就奔逃，约旦河也倒流。大山如公羊一般跳跃，小山像羊羔一样蹦跳。大海啊，你为何奔逃？约旦河啊，你为何倒流？大山啊，你为何如公羊一般跳跃？小山啊，你为何像羊羔一样蹦跳？大地啊，你要在主面前，在雅各的上帝面前战抖，

你的鼻孔一呼气，海水便堆聚起来，洪涛便堆起水墙，海底深处也都凝固。敌人说，‘追啊，追上他们，瓜分他们的财物，尽情地掳掠他们，拔出刀来把他们斩尽杀绝。’你叫风一吹，海水就淹没他们，他们好像铅块一样沉没在怒海中。

上帝啊，你为何永远丢弃了我们？你为何对自己草场上的羊大发雷霆？

耶和华啊，你斥责一声，鼻孔一吹气，海底就显现，大地也露出根基。祂从高天伸手抓住我，从深渊中把我拉上来。祂救我脱离强敌，脱离我无法战胜的仇敌。

耶稣答道：“你们的信心太小了，为什么害怕呢？”于是祂起来斥责风和浪，风浪就完全平静了。门徒很惊奇，说：“祂究竟是什么人？连风浪都听祂的！”
