When the messengers went to Gibeah( where Saul lived) and informed the people of these matters, all the people wept loudly.

Then Joshua executed them and hung them on five trees. They were left hanging on the trees until evening.

In three more days Pharaoh will decapitate you and impale you on a pole. Then the birds will eat your flesh from you.”
