and David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of Jehovah?

大卫对基遍人说：“我当为你们做什么呢？要用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

大卫对基遍人说：“我当为你们做什么呢？要用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

问他们：“我可以为你们做些什么来赎罪，使你们愿意祝福耶和华的子民呢？”

大卫问基遍人：“我能为你们作什么？我该用什么来赎罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢？”

問他們說：「我當為你們怎樣行呢？可用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

大衛對基遍人說：「我當為你們做甚麼呢？要用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

大衛對基遍人說：「我當為你們做甚麼呢？要用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

問他們：「我可以為你們做些什麼來贖罪，使你們願意祝福耶和華的子民呢？」

大衛問基遍人：“我能為你們作甚麼？我該用甚麼來贖罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？”

大衛是這樣問基遍人說：『我應當為你們作甚麼？我應該用甚麼來贖罪，使你們為永恆主的產業祝福呢？』

大衛問基遍人：「我該為你們做些什麼呢？我該怎樣贖罪，使你們祝福耶和華的繼業呢？」

大衛召基遍人、謂之曰、我當為爾何為、何以贖此罪、俾爾為耶和華之業祝嘏、

問曰、我為爾將何所為、以贖此罪、使爾為耶和華之選民而祝嘏。

大衛問基遍人曰、我為爾當何為、我當何為、方贖此罪、使爾為主之子民祝福、或作以致爾可使主之子民獲福

David asked the Gibeonites,“ What shall I do for you? How shall I make atonement so that you will bless the Lord’s inheritance?”

He asked them,“ What would you like me to do for you? How can I make up for the wrong things that were done to you? I want you to be able to pray that the Lord will once again bless his land.”

And David said to the Gibeonites,“ What shall I do for you? And how shall I make atonement, that you may bless the heritage of the Lord?”

David asked them,“ What can I do for you? How can I make amends so that you will bless the Lord’s people again?”

He asked the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? How can I make atonement so that you will bring a blessing on the LORD’s inheritance?”

David said to the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? And how can I make amends, so that you will bless the inheritance of the Lord?”

Therefore David said to the Gibeonites,“ What shall I do for you? And with what shall I make atonement, that you may bless the inheritance of the Lord?”

He asked the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? How can I make atonement so that you will bring a blessing on the Lord’s inheritance?”

Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD?

David said to the Gibeonites,“ What can I do for you, and how can I make amends so that you will bless the LORD’s inheritance?”

and David said to the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? And with what should I make atonement, that you may bless Yahweh’s inheritance?”

I am of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel: thou seekest to destroy a city and a mother in Israel: why wilt thou swallow up the inheritance of Jehovah?

Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it be Jehovah that hath stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day that I should not cleave unto the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto Jehovah; peradventure I shall make atonement for your sin.

If one man sin against another, God shall judge him; but if a man sin against Jehovah, who shall entreat for him? Notwithstanding, they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because Jehovah was minded to slay them.

And according to the law, I may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt- offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body didst thou prepare for me;In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hadst no pleasure:Then said I, Lo, I am come( In the roll of the book it is written of me) To do thy will, O God.Saying above, Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein( the which are offered according to the law),then hath he said, Lo, I am come to do thy will. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.And every priest indeed standeth day by day ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, the which can never take away sins:but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Wherewith shall I come before Jehovah, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt- offerings, with calves a year old?will Jehovah be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my first- born for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
