現在求我主我王聽僕人的話：若是耶和華激發你來攻擊我，願耶和華悅納供物；若是出於人，願他們在耶和華面前受詛咒，因為他們今日趕逐我，不讓我在耶和華的產業中有分，說：『你去事奉別神吧！』

大衛對基遍人說：「我當為你們做甚麼呢？要用甚麼贖這罪，使你們為耶和華的產業祝福呢？」

現在你們要急速派人去告訴大衛說：『今夜不可在曠野的渡口住宿，務要過河，免得王和所有跟隨他的百姓都被吞滅。』」

亞伯拉罕近前來，說：「你真的要把義人和惡人一同剿滅嗎？

當這會朽壞的變成不朽壞的，這會死的變成不會死的，那時經上所記「死亡已被勝利吞滅了」的話就應驗了。

其實，我們在這帳篷裏的人勞苦嘆息，並不是願意脫下地上的帳篷，而是願意穿上天上的居所，好使這必死的被生命吞滅了。

主吞滅雅各一切的住處，並不顧惜。他發怒傾覆猶大的堡壘，將它們夷為平地，凌辱這國與她的領袖。

你所有的仇敵張口來攻擊你；他們嗤笑，切齒，說：「我們把她吞滅了，這是我們所盼望的日子！我們終於等到了，親眼看見了！」

地開了裂口，把他們和他們的家眷，以及一切屬可拉的人和財物，都吞了下去。

那時，人向我們發怒，就把我們活活吞了；

我要懲罰巴比倫的彼勒，使它吐出所吞之物。列國必不再流歸到它那裏，巴比倫的城牆也必坍塌。

如今你們若真的聽從我的話，遵守我的約，就要在萬民中作屬我的子民，因為全地都是我的。你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為神聖的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」

以色列農村荒蕪，空無一人，直到我底波拉興起，興起作以色列之母！

因為耶和華的份是他的百姓，他的產業就是雅各。

作官的原不是要使行善的懼怕，而是要使作惡的懼怕。你願意不懼怕掌權的嗎？只要行善，你就可得他的稱讚；因為他是神的用人，是與你有益的。你若作惡，就該懼怕，因為他不是徒然佩劍；他是神的用人，為神的憤怒，報應作惡的。

為君王和一切在位的，也要如此，使我們能夠敬虔端正地過平穩寧靜的生活。

主如仇敵吞滅以色列，吞滅它一切的宮殿，毀壞境內的堡壘；在猶大加添悲傷和哭號。

地開了裂口，吞了他們和可拉，可拉一夥的人也一同死亡。當時火吞滅了二百五十個人；他們就成為鑒戒。

你實在是你母親的女兒，厭棄丈夫和兒女；你也是你姊妹的姊妹，厭棄丈夫和兒女。你的母親是赫人，父親是亞摩利人。你的姊姊是撒瑪利亞，她和她的女兒們住在你北邊；你的妹妹是所多瑪，她和她的女兒們住在你南邊。你不只效法她們的行為，照她們可憎的事去做，不消多時，你所做的一切就比她們更惡。主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，你的妹妹所多瑪與她的女兒們並未做你和你女兒們所做的事。看哪，你的妹妹所多瑪的罪孽是這樣：她和她的女兒們都驕傲，糧源充足，大享安逸，卻不扶持困苦和貧窮人的手。

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞滅我，壓碎我，使我成為空器皿。他如大魚將我吞下，以我的美物充滿他的肚腹，又把我趕出去。
