Amasa was not on his guard against the dagger in Joab’s hand, and Joab plunged it into his belly, and his intestines spilled out on the ground. Without being stabbed again, Amasa died. Then Joab and his brother Abishai pursued Sheba son of Bikri.

Amasa didn’t notice the dagger in Joab’s left hand. Joab stuck it into his stomach. His insides spilled out on the ground. Joab didn’t have to stab him again. Amasa was already dead. Then Joab and his brother Abishai went after Sheba, the son of Bikri.

But Amasa did not observe the sword that was in Joab’s hand. So Joab struck him with it in the stomach and spilled his entrails to the ground without striking a second blow, and he died. Then Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba the son of Bichri.

Amasa didn’t notice the dagger in his left hand, and Joab stabbed him in the stomach with it so that his insides gushed out onto the ground. Joab did not need to strike again, and Amasa soon died. Joab and his brother Abishai left him lying there and continued after Sheba.

Amasa did not protect himself from the knife in Joab’s other hand, and Joab stabbed him in the abdomen, causing Amasa’s intestines to spill out on the ground. There was no need to stab him again; the first blow was fatal. Then Joab and his brother Abishai pursued Sheba son of Bicri.

But Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab’s hand. So he struck him with it in the body, and shed out his bowels to the ground, and didn’t strike him again; and he died. Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba the son of Bichri.

亚撒黑不肯离开，所以押尼珥就用枪的尾端刺入了他的肚子，枪从他的背后穿出。亚撒黑仆倒在那里，当场死了。所有来到亚撒黑倒毙的地方的人，都站住不动。

押尼珥回到了希伯仑，约押就拉他到城门的瓮洞里与他密谈。约押就在那里刺透他的肚子，他就死了。这样，他替自己的兄弟亚撒黑报了血仇。

以笏就伸出左手，从右腿上拔出剑来，刺入王的腹中；

约押对亚玛撒说：“我的兄弟，你好吗？”约押用右手握住亚玛撒的胡子，要与他亲吻。

亚比筛对大卫说：“今天神把你的仇敌交在你手里了。现在求你容我用矛把他刺透在地上，一刺就够，不必再刺。”

他用不义的酬劳买了一块田，结果倒头栽了下去，腹破肠流。这事住在耶路撒冷的人全都知道，所以按当地的话，那块地称为亚革大马，意思就是‘血田’。

他们配备弓箭，能用左右两手开弓甩石射箭；他们都属便雅悯支派，是扫罗的亲族。

该隐对他的弟弟亚伯说：“我们到田间去吧。”﹙《马索拉文本》缺“我们到田间去吧”一句，现参照其他抄本及古译本补上。﹚，该隐就起来袭击他的弟弟亚伯，把他杀了。

王对比拿雅说：“你照着约押的话行吧！杀死他，把他埋葬，好叫约押所流无辜人的血，从我和我父的家除去。耶和华必使约押流无辜人的血的罪归到他自己头上，因为他击杀了两个比他又公义又良善的人，就是用刀杀了以色列的元帅尼珥的儿子押尼珥，和犹大的元帅益帖的儿子亚玛撒，这事我的父亲大卫一点都不知道。愿流这二人的血的罪归到约押和他后裔的头上，直到永远；但大卫和他的后裔，他的家和他的国却要从耶和华那里得享平安，直到永远。”于是耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅上去击杀他，把他杀死，葬在旷野约押自己的家中。

你也要知道洗鲁雅的儿子约押对我所行的，就是对以色列的两个元帅：尼珥的儿子押尼珥和益帖的儿子亚玛撒所行的。他杀了他们，在和平的时候流他们的血，像作战时一样，把战争的血染在他腰间所束的带子上和脚上所穿的鞋子上。所以你要凭你的智慧而行，不要让他白发到老，平平安安下到阴间。
