Now a troublemaker named Sheba son of Bikri, a Benjamite, happened to be there. He sounded the trumpet and shouted,“ We have no share in David, no part in Jesse’s son! Every man to his tent, Israel!”

An evil man who always stirred up trouble happened to be in Gilgal. His name was Sheba, the son of Bikri. Sheba was from the tribe of Benjamin. He blew his trumpet. Then he shouted,“ We don’t have any share in David’s kingdom! Jesse’s son is not our king! Men of Israel, every one of you go back home!”

Now there happened to be there a worthless man, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite. And he blew the trumpet and said,“ We have no portion in David, and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse; every man to his tents, O Israel!”

There happened to be a troublemaker there named Sheba son of Bicri, a man from the tribe of Benjamin. Sheba blew a ram’s horn and began to chant:“ Down with the dynasty of David! We have no interest in the son of Jesse. Come on, you men of Israel, back to your homes!”

Now a wicked man, a Benjaminite named Sheba son of Bichri, happened to be there. He blew the ram’s horn and shouted: We have no portion in David, no inheritance in Jesse’s son. Each man to his tent, Israel!

Now a worthless man happened to be there whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite; and he blew the trumpet and said,“ We have no share in David, Nor do we have an inheritance in the son of Jesse; Every man to his tents, Israel!”

And there happened to be there a rebel, whose name was Sheba the son of Bichri, a Benjamite. And he blew a trumpet, and said:“ We have no share in David, Nor do we have inheritance in the son of Jesse; Every man to his tents, O Israel!”

And there happened to be there a base fellow, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew the trumpet, and said, We have no portion in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.

Now a wicked man, a Benjaminite named Sheba son of Bichri, happened to be there. He blew the ram’s horn and shouted: We have no portion in David, no inheritance in Jesse’s son. Each man to his tent, Israel!

And there happened to be there a man of Belial, whose name[ was] Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew a trumpet, and said, We have no part in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.

以色列眾人見王不依從他們，百姓就回話給王，說：「我們在大衛中有甚麼份呢？我們在耶西的兒子中沒有產業！以色列啊，回你的帳棚去吧！大衛啊，現在你顧自己的家吧！」於是，以色列人都回自己的帳棚去了；

有些無賴之徒從你中間出來，引誘本城的居民，說：『我們去事奉別神吧。』那是你們不認識的，

以色列眾人見王不依從他們，百姓就回覆王說：「我們在大衛中有甚麼分呢？我們在耶西的兒子中沒有產業！以色列啊，各回自己的帳棚去吧！大衛啊，現在你顧自己的家吧！」於是，以色列眾人都回自己的帳棚去了；

羅波安的父親所羅門在世的時候，有侍立在他面前的長者，羅波安王和他們商議，說：「你們出個主意，好把話帶回給這百姓。」

耶和華啊，求你興起，前去迎敵，把他打倒！求你用你的刀救我的命脫離惡人。

看哪，以色列眾人來到王那裏，對王說：「我們的弟兄猶大人為甚麼暗暗地送王和王的家眷，以及所有跟隨王的人，過約旦河呢？」猶大眾人回答以色列人說：「因為王與我們是親屬，你們為何因這事發怒呢？我們靠王吃了甚麼呢？王真正給了我們甚麼賞賜呢？」以色列人回答猶大人說：「我們與王有十倍的關係，就是在大衛身上，我們也比你們更有權利。你們為何藐視我們呢？我們不是最先提議請王回來的嗎？」但猶大人的話比以色列人的話更強硬。

掃羅對左右侍立的臣僕說：「便雅憫人哪，聽着！耶西的兒子也能把田地和葡萄園賜給你們各人嗎？他能立你們各人作千夫長和百夫長嗎？你們竟都結黨害我！我兒子與耶西的兒子立約的時候，無人告訴我；我兒子挑唆我的臣僕謀害我，像今日這樣，也無人告訴我，為我憂慮。」

好爭吵的人煽動爭端，就如餘火加炭，火上加柴一樣。

不要冒失出去與人爭訟，免得你的鄰舍羞辱你，最後你就不知怎麼做。

但無賴全都像被丟棄的荊棘；它們不能用手去拿；

耶和華－我的神，我的聖者啊，你不是從亙古就有嗎？我們必不致死。耶和華啊，你派他為要行審判；磐石啊，你立他為要懲治人。你的眼目清潔，不看邪惡，也不看奸惡，為何你卻看着人行詭詐呢？惡人吞滅比自己公義的人，為何你保持沉默呢？

我兒啊，你要敬畏耶和華與君王，不可結交反覆無常的人，因為他們的災難必忽然興起。誰能知道耶和華與君王所施行的毀滅呢？

義人多有苦難，但耶和華救他脫離這一切，

他們心裏歡樂的時候，看哪，城中的無賴圍住房子，連連叩門，對老人，這家的主人說：「把那進你家的人帶出來，我們要與他交合。」

以利的兩個兒子是無賴，不認識耶和華。

押沙龍派密使走遍以色列各支派，說：「你們一聽見角聲就說：『押沙龍在希伯崙作王了！』」

他到了那裏，就在以法蓮山區吹角。以色列人跟隨他從山區下來，他在他們前面引路，

他本國的百姓卻恨他，打發使者隨後去，說：『我們不願意這個人作我們的王。』

跟隨大衛去的人中，每一個惡人和無賴都說：「這些人既然沒有和我同去，我們所奪的財物就不分給他們，只把他們各人的妻子兒女給他們，讓他們帶回去就好了。」

至於我那些仇敵，不要我作他們王的，把他們拉來，在我面前殺了！』」
