David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead and said to them,“ The LORD bless you because you have shown this kindness to Saul your lord when you buried him.

大闢遣使者至基列之雅疋、告其人曰、汝厚待爾主掃羅、俾其得葬、願耶和華錫爾純嘏。

he sent messengers to them to say to them,“ The Lord bless you for showing this kindness to Saul your master by burying him.

So he sent messengers to them to speak for him. The messengers said,“ You were kind to bury the body of your master Saul. May the Lord bless you for that.

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh-gilead and said to them,“ May you be blessed by the Lord, because you showed this loyalty to Saul your lord and buried him.

he sent them this message:“ May the Lord bless you for being so loyal to your master Saul and giving him a decent burial.

So David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh gilead, and said to them,“ May you be blessed of the Lord because you have shown this kindness to Saul your lord, and have buried him.

So David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them,“ You are blessed of the Lord, for you have shown this kindness to your Lord, to Saul, and have buried him.

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabesh- gilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of Jehovah, that ye have showed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed[ be] ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord,[ even] unto Saul, and have buried him.

So David sent messengers to the people of Jabesh Gilead and told them,“ May you be blessed by the LORD because you have shown this kindness to your lord Saul by burying him.

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them,“ Blessed are you by Yahweh, that you have shown this kindness to your lord, even to Saul, and have buried him.

“ May you be blessed by the LORD,” replied Saul,“ for you have shown concern for me.

Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law,“ May the LORD bless him because he has not abandoned his kindness to the living or the dead.” Naomi continued,“ The man is a close relative. He is one of our family redeemers.”

May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Then he said,“ May the LORD bless you, my daughter. You have shown more kindness now than before, because you have not pursued younger men, whether rich or poor.

Naomi said to them,“ Each of you go back to your mother’s home. May the LORD show kindness to you as you have shown to the dead and to me.

Then David said to Abigail,“ Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who sent you to meet me today!May your discernment be blessed, and may you be blessed. Today you kept me from participating in bloodshed and avenging myself by my own hand.

When a man finds his enemy, does he let him go unharmed? May the LORD repay you with good for what you’ve done for me today.
