在希伯崙為猶大王、歷七年有六月、在耶路撒冷為眾以色列及猶大王、歷三十三年、

於是以色列諸長老至希伯崙見王、大衛王在希伯崙、與之立約於主前、諸長老膏大衛立為以色列王、

撒母耳取角中之膏、膏之於其諸兄間、自此日後、主之神感大衛、撒母耳啟行、歸拉瑪、

今爾主王掃羅已終、猶大族已膏我立為其王、爾亦當堅志爾亦當堅志或作爾曹勿怯為豪傑、○

非利士人聞大衛受膏為以色列王、咸上而索之、大衛聞之、入保障、

猶大人眾答以色列人曰、緣王與我儕為同族、為同族或作至親也何因此而怒乎、我曾食王之物乎、曾受王之賞乎、

大衛在希伯崙為王、轄猶大族七年有六月、○

於是以色列諸長老至希伯崙見王、大衛王在希伯崙與之立約於主前、諸長老膏大衛立為以色列王、應主託撒母耳所言者、

維爾猶大、兄弟所贊、爾手必扼敵之頸項、爾父之子、必跪拜爾、我子猶大、有如猛獅、噬物即去、臥如牡獅、蹲如牝獅、誰敢攖之、秉權者永不離猶大、立法者必由之而生、迨賜平安者至、萬民必歸之、

大衛王遣人見祭司撒督與亞比亞他曰、當告猶大諸長老曰、以色列眾已有言、欲導王歸宮、爾導王歸宮、何居人後、
