但如果你们心里怀着苦毒的嫉妒和争竞，就不要自夸、说谎而抵挡真理。这种智慧不是从上面下来的，而是属地的，属血气的，属鬼魔的。要知道，哪里有嫉妒和争竞，哪里就有混乱和各样的恶事。

他冒着生命危险，击杀了那非利士人；耶和华为全以色列施行了大拯救。那时你看见了就欢喜，现在你为什么要犯罪流无辜人的血，无故杀大卫呢？”

这样大卫用投石索和石头胜了那非利士人。大卫手中没有刀，却击倒了那非利士人，杀了他。
