All the men of Judah responded to the men of Israel,“ Because the king is our relative. Why does this make you angry? Have we ever eaten anything of the king’s or been honored at all?”

犹大众人回答以色列人说：“因为王与我们是亲属，你们为何因这事发怒呢？我们吃了王的什么呢？王赏赐了我们什么呢？”

犹大众人回答以色列人说：“因为王与我们是亲属，你们为何因这事发怒呢？我们靠王吃了什么呢？王真正给了我们什么赏赐呢？”

犹大众人回答以色列人说：“因为王与我们是亲属，你们为何因这事发怒呢？我们靠王吃了什么呢？王真正给了我们什么赏赐呢？”

犹大人答道：“我们这样做是因为王是我们的亲族。你们为什么生气呢？难道我们吃了王的供应，得了什么礼物吗？”

犹大众人回答以色列人说：“因为王与我们的关系亲密。你们为什么因这事而生气呢？我们从王那里得到什么吃的呢？或是他给了我们什么礼物呢？”

猶大眾人回答以色列人說：「因為王與我們是親屬，你們為何因這事發怒呢？我們吃了王的甚麼呢？王賞賜了我們甚麼呢？」

猶大眾人回答以色列人說：「因為王與我們是親屬，你們為何因這事發怒呢？我們靠王吃了甚麼呢？王真正給了我們甚麼賞賜呢？」

猶大眾人回答以色列人說：「因為王與我們是親屬，你們為何因這事發怒呢？我們靠王吃了甚麼呢？王真正給了我們甚麼賞賜呢？」

猶大人答道：「我們這樣做是因為王是我們的親族。你們為什麼生氣呢？難道我們吃了王的供應，得了什麼禮物嗎？」

猶大眾人回答以色列人說：“因為王與我們的關係親密。你們為甚麼因這事而生氣呢？我們從王那裡得到甚麼吃的呢？或是他給了我們甚麼禮物呢？”

猶大眾人回答以色列人說：『因為王是我們的近親；你們為甚麼因這事而發怒呢？我們喫了王的甚麼沒有？我們收到甚麼禮份沒有？』

猶大眾人回應以色列人，說：「因為王與我們是親族。你們為什麼因這事惱火呢？難道我們吃了王的什麼東西，或者我們得了什麼好處嗎？」

猶大人曰、王與我同宗、何因此事而怒、我豈食王祿、王豈有所餽於我乎、

猶大人語以色列族曰、王與我誼屬同宗、何因此而怒、我豈食王祿、受王餽者乎。

猶大人眾答以色列人曰、緣王與我儕為同族、為同族或作至親也何因此而怒乎、我曾食王之物乎、曾受王之賞乎、

All the men of Judah answered the men of Israel,“ We did this because the king is closely related to us. Why are you angry about it? Have we eaten any of the king’s provisions? Have we taken anything for ourselves?”

All the men of Judah answered the men of Israel. They said,“ We did that because the king is our close relative. So why should you be angry about what happened? Have we eaten any of the king’s food? Have we taken anything for ourselves?”

All the men of Judah answered the men of Israel,“ Because the king is our close relative. Why then are you angry over this matter? Have we eaten at all at the king’s expense? Or has he given us any gift?”

The men of Judah replied,“ The king is one of our own kinsmen. Why should this make you angry? We haven’t eaten any of the king’s food or received any special favors!”

All the men of Judah responded to the men of Israel,“ Because the king is our relative. Why does this make you angry? Have we ever eaten anything of the king’s or been honored at all?”

Then all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel,“ Because the king is a close relative to us. Why then are you angry about this matter? Have we eaten at all at the king’s expense, or has anything been taken for us?”

So all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel,“ Because the king is a close relative of ours. Why then are you angry over this matter? Have we ever eaten at the king’s expense? Or has he given us any gift?”

And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to us: wherefore then are ye angry for this matter? have we eaten at all at the king’s cost? or hath he given us any gift?

All the men of Judah replied to the men of Israel,“ Because the king is our close relative! Why are you so upset about this? Have we eaten at the king’s expense? Or have we misappropriated anything for our own use?”

All the men of Judah answered the men of Israel,“ Because the king is a close relative to us. Why then are you angry about this matter? Have we eaten at all at the king’s cost? Or has he given us any gift?”

You are my brothers, my flesh and blood. So why should you be the last to restore the king?’

Judah’s sons: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanite woman. Er, Judah’s firstborn, was evil in the Lord’s sight, so He put him to death.Judah’s daughter-in-law Tamar bore Perez and Zerah to him. Judah had five sons in all.Perez’s sons: Hezron and Hamul.Zerah’s sons: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol, and Dara— five in all.Carmi’s son: Achar, who brought trouble on Israel when he was unfaithful by taking the things set apart for destruction.Ethan’s son: Azariah.Hezron’s sons, who were born to him: Jerahmeel, Ram, and Chelubai.Ram fathered Amminadab, and Amminadab fathered Nahshon, a leader of Judah’s descendants.Nahshon fathered Salma, and Salma fathered Boaz.Boaz fathered Obed, and Obed fathered Jesse.Jesse fathered Eliab, his firstborn; Abinadab was born second, Shimea third,Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,Ozem sixth, and David seventh.Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah’s three sons: Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.Amasa’s mother was Abigail, and his father was Jether the Ishmaelite.

All the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said,“ Here we are, your own flesh and blood.
