大卫便向扫罗起誓。之后，扫罗回家了，大卫和部下也回堡垒去了。

大卫回到家为自己的家人祝福，米甲出来迎接他，说：“今天以色列王好光彩呀！居然像个粗俗之人，在臣仆和婢女面前露体！”

约押就去见王，把押沙龙的话告诉他，王便召见押沙龙。押沙龙来到王面前俯首叩拜，王就亲吻他。

众人都哭了，抱着保罗与他亲吻，

以利沙就撇下牛，追上以利亚说：“请你让我先回去与父母亲吻道别，再跟你走吧。”以利亚说：“你回去吧，别忘了我刚才对你做的事。”

要以圣洁的吻问候众弟兄姊妹。

说完，巴兰动身返回家乡，巴勒也回去了。

然后又亲吻其他弟兄，抱着他们痛哭，弟兄们跟他交谈起来。

他祝福亚伯兰说：“愿创造天地的主、至高的上帝赐福给亚伯兰！
