“你要恩待基列人巴西莱的众子，让他们成为你的座上宾，因为我逃避你哥哥押沙龙的时候，他们曾接待我。

他们启程前往埃及，途中在伯利恒附近的基罗特金罕住下。

王过河后，来到吉甲，金罕跟随着他。护送王的有犹大的士兵和半数的以色列士兵。

我的生命如同奉献在祭坛上的酒正倾倒出来，我离世的日子快要到了。

我与祖先同眠后，你要把我带出埃及安葬在我祖先的身边。”约瑟说：“我必照你说的做。”

“主啊，现在你的话已经成就，可以让你的奴仆安然离世了，因为我已亲眼看到你的救恩，

竟然在祂禁止你吃喝的地方吃饭喝水，因此你的尸体必不得安葬在你的祖坟里。”

“我快要走完人世的路程了。你们深知你们的上帝耶和华赐给你们的一切美好应许没有一句落空，都已经应验了。

雅各又嘱咐他们说：“我要离世了，你们要把我葬在赫人以弗仑田间的洞里，让我与祖先在一起。那洞穴在迦南幔利附近的麦比拉田间，是亚伯拉罕向赫人以弗仑买来作坟地的。亚伯拉罕和他的妻子撒拉，以撒和他的妻子利百加都葬在那里，我把利亚也葬在了那里。

因我知道自己离世的日子已经不远了，正如我们的主耶稣基督指示我的。

以色列对约瑟说：“我快死了，但上帝必与你们同在，带你们回到你们祖先的土地。

把父亲的遗体带回迦南，安葬在幔利附近、麦比拉田间的洞里。洞和田地都是亚伯拉罕向赫人以弗仑买来作坟地的。
