大闢謂之曰、若爾與我偕、適以阻我而已。

其僕婢七千三百三十七人、中有男女謳歌者二百人。

人生歲數、無過七十、如體壯健、可冀八旬、雖以遐齡自詡、而已晚景之彌艱、生命將絕、如鳥高飛、倏忽不見兮、

若戶小人寡、一羔不能盡、則與比鄰同取、隨其人數、各如其量。

我廣貯金銀、集四方貢物、以及樂官伶女、后妃嬪御、充於後宮、

耳察聲音。猶口之知味、

其僕婢七千三百三十七人、中有男女謳歌者二百四十五人。

年當少壯、必及時敬造化之主、宜憶勿忘、斯時也、患難憂愁之日尚未至。既屆其期、日月星辰必晦其光、雲遮靉靆、雨降淋漓。守室者必戰慄、有力者必卷曲、旋磨者寡而缺、窺牖者昏而黑、通衢之門已閉、旋磨之聲不聞、鳥鳴而寢即起、謳歌而音不揚、不敢登高、行於途中亦多畏葸、以杏核為可厭、以蟿蟲為重物、生平嗜好、百無一存、人歸窀穸、哀者行於衢。

我不出非義之言、事之是非、我察之明矣。

曰可。乃往招其母。

惟成人則肉食、以其練習、精於思、能別美惡焉、

蒙主恩者咸若是、

其人夙興、縱飲無度、迨至薄暮、更覺沉湎、若此必有禍患、飲宴之時、鼓琴彈瑟、播鼗吹蕭、耶和華之彰癉、彼不以為意、

王曰、我子、毋庸群去、恐費過奢。押沙龍強請之、亦不允、第為之祝嘏。
