對王說：『當我主我王出耶路撒冷那一天，你僕人所行悖逆的事，願我主我王不要歸罪於我，不要惦念，而使王放在心上。

對王說：「求我主不要計算我的罪孽；我主我王離開耶路撒冷的那天，僕人行事扭曲，求王不要記念、不要放在心上。

曰、我主勿罪我、當我主我王出耶路撒冷時、僕所行悖逆之事、祈勿念之、勿介於懷、

曰、我主毋咎我、昔我主我王離耶路撒冷時、臣僕所行背逆之事、王毋繫念於懷。

曰、我主我王出耶路撒冷時、僕行悖逆、今求王毋因此罪僕、毋記憶、毋懷於心、

and said to him,“ May my lord not hold me guilty. Do not remember how your servant did wrong on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king put it out of his mind.

He said to him,“ You are my king and master. Please don’t hold me guilty. Please forgive me for the wrong things I did on the day you left Jerusalem. Please forget all about them.

and said to the king,“ Let not my lord hold me guilty or remember how your servant did wrong on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. Do not let the king take it to heart.

“ My lord the king, please forgive me,” he pleaded.“ Forget the terrible thing your servant did when you left Jerusalem. May the king put it out of his mind.

and said to him,“ My lord, don’t hold me guilty, and don’t remember your servant’s wrongdoing on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king not take it to heart.

And he said to the king,“ May my lord not consider me guilty, nor call to mind what your servant did wrong on the day when my lord the king went out from Jerusalem, so that the king would take it to heart.

Then he said to the king,“ Do not let my Lord impute iniquity to me, or remember what wrong your servant did on the day that my Lord the king left Jerusalem, that the king should take it to heart.

And he said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

and said to him,“ My lord, don’t hold me guilty, and don’t remember your servant’s wrongdoing on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king not take it to heart.

He said to the king,“ Don’t think badly of me, my lord, and don’t recall the sin of your servant on the day when you, my lord the king, left Jerusalem! Please don’t call it to mind!

Have I today begun to inquire of God for him? Be it far from me! Don’t let the king impute anything to his servant, nor to all the house of my father; for your servant knows nothing of all this, less or more.”

Blessed is the man to whom Yahweh doesn’t impute iniquity, in whose spirit there is no deceit.

Please don’t let my lord pay attention to this worthless fellow, Nabal; for as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and folly is with him; but I, your servant, didn’t see my lord’s young men, whom you sent.

When king David came to Bahurim, behold, a man of the family of Saul’s house came out, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera. He came out and cursed as he came.He cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David, and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.Shimei said when he cursed,“ Be gone, be gone, you man of blood, and wicked fellow!Yahweh has returned on you all the blood of Saul’s house, in whose place you have reigned! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!”Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king,“ Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Please let me go over and take off his head.”The king said,“ What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? Because he curses, and because Yahweh has said to him,‘ Curse David;’ who then shall say,‘ Why have you done so?’”David said to Abishai, and to all his servants,“ Behold, my son, who came out of my bowels, seeks my life. How much more this Benjamite, now? Leave him alone, and let him curse; for Yahweh has invited him.It may be that Yahweh will look on the wrong done to me, and that Yahweh will repay me good for the cursing of me today.”So David and his men went by the way; and Shimei went along on the hillside opposite him, and cursed as he went, threw stones at him, and threw dust.The king, and all the people who were with him, came weary; and he refreshed himself there.

If the spirit of the ruler rises up against you, don’t leave your place; for gentleness lays great offenses to rest.

namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.

I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.

Even as David also pronounces blessing on the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works,“ Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are covered.Blessed is the man whom the Lord will by no means charge with sin.”

Don’t hold the iniquities of our forefathers against us. Let your tender mercies speedily meet us, for we are in desperate need.

Then Saul said,“ I have sinned. Return, my son David; for I will no more do you harm, because my life was precious in your eyes today. Behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.”

Now therefore don’t let my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead; for only Amnon is dead.”
