对王说：“我主我王从耶路撒冷出来的那一天，你仆人所犯的错，现在求我主不要归罪于我，求你不要记念，求王也不要放在心上。

對王說：“我主我王從耶路撒冷出來的那一天，你僕人所犯的錯，現在求我主不要歸罪於我，求你不要記念，求王也不要放在心上。

對王說：『當我主我王出耶路撒冷那一天，你僕人所行悖逆的事，願我主我王不要歸罪於我，不要惦念，而使王放在心上。

對王說：「求我主不要計算我的罪孽；我主我王離開耶路撒冷的那天，僕人行事扭曲，求王不要記念、不要放在心上。

曰、我主勿罪我、當我主我王出耶路撒冷時、僕所行悖逆之事、祈勿念之、勿介於懷、

曰、我主毋咎我、昔我主我王離耶路撒冷時、臣僕所行背逆之事、王毋繫念於懷。

曰、我主我王出耶路撒冷時、僕行悖逆、今求王毋因此罪僕、毋記憶、毋懷於心、

and said to him,“ May my lord not hold me guilty. Do not remember how your servant did wrong on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king put it out of his mind.

He said to him,“ You are my king and master. Please don’t hold me guilty. Please forgive me for the wrong things I did on the day you left Jerusalem. Please forget all about them.

and said to the king,“ Let not my lord hold me guilty or remember how your servant did wrong on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. Do not let the king take it to heart.

“ My lord the king, please forgive me,” he pleaded.“ Forget the terrible thing your servant did when you left Jerusalem. May the king put it out of his mind.

and said to him,“ My lord, don’t hold me guilty, and don’t remember your servant’s wrongdoing on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king not take it to heart.

And he said to the king,“ May my lord not consider me guilty, nor call to mind what your servant did wrong on the day when my lord the king went out from Jerusalem, so that the king would take it to heart.

Then he said to the king,“ Do not let my Lord impute iniquity to me, or remember what wrong your servant did on the day that my Lord the king left Jerusalem, that the king should take it to heart.

and said to him,“ My lord, don’t hold me guilty, and don’t remember your servant’s wrongdoing on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king not take it to heart.

He said to the king,“ Don’t think badly of me, my lord, and don’t recall the sin of your servant on the day when you, my lord the king, left Jerusalem! Please don’t call it to mind!

He said to the king,“ Don’t let my lord impute iniquity to me, or remember that which your servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

Did I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute[ any] thing unto his servant,[ nor] to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.

Blessed[ is] the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit[ there is] no guile.

Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial,[ even] Nabal: for as his name[ is], so[ is] he; Nabal[ is] his name, and folly[ is] with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send.

And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, thence came out a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name[ was] Shimei, the son of Gera: he came forth, and cursed still as he came.And he cast stones at David, and at all the servants of king David: and all the people and all the mighty men[ were] on his right hand and on his left.And thus said Shimei when he cursed, Come out, come out, thou bloody man, and thou man of Belial:The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou[ art taken] in thy mischief, because thou[ art] a bloody man.Then said Abishai the son of Zeruiah unto the king, Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? let me go over, I pray thee, and take off his head.And the king said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah? so let him curse, because the LORD hath said unto him, Curse David. Who shall then say, Wherefore hast thou done so?And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now[ may this] Benjamite[ do it]? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.It may be that the LORD will look on mine affliction, and that the LORD will requite me good for his cursing this day.And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill’s side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.And the king, and all the people that[ were] with him, came weary, and refreshed themselves there.

If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.

Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What[ is that] to us? see thou[ to that].

And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy peace, my sister: he[ is] thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.Now therefore forgive, I pray thee, my sin only this once, and intreat the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

I,[ even] I,[ am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,[ Saying], Blessed[ are] they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.Blessed[ is] the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.

Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.

Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king’s sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.
