你們也要對亞瑪撒說：「你不是我的骨肉麼？我若不立你代替約押常在我面前做軍長，願永恆主這樣嚴厲地待我，並且加倍地嚴厲。」』

也要对亚玛撒说：‘你不是我的骨肉吗？我若不立你替约押常作元帅，愿神重重地降罚与我！’”

你们要对亚玛撒说：‘你不是我的骨肉吗？我若不立你在我面前取代约押永久作元帅，愿上帝重重惩罚我！’”

你们要对亚玛撒说：‘你不是我的骨肉吗？我若不立你在我面前取代约押永久作元帅，愿神重重惩罚我！’”

你们也要对亚玛撒说，‘你是我的骨肉，要是我不立你为元帅取代约押，愿上帝重重地处罚我。’”

你们又要对亚玛撒说：‘你不是我的骨肉至亲吗？我若不立你代替约押，在我面前作军队的元帅，愿神重重地惩罚我，并且加倍严厉地惩罚我。’”

也要對亞瑪撒說：『你不是我的骨肉嗎？我若不立你替約押常作元帥，願神重重地降罰與我！』」

你們要對亞瑪撒說：『你不是我的骨肉嗎？我若不立你在我面前取代約押永久作元帥，願上帝重重懲罰我！』」

你們要對亞瑪撒說：『你不是我的骨肉嗎？我若不立你在我面前取代約押永久作元帥，願神重重懲罰我！』」

你們也要對亞瑪撒說，『你是我的骨肉，要是我不立你為元帥取代約押，願上帝重重地處罰我。』」

你們又要對亞瑪撒說：‘你不是我的骨肉至親嗎？我若不立你代替約押，在我面前作軍隊的元帥，願神重重地懲罰我，並且加倍嚴厲地懲罰我。’”

也要對亞瑪撒說：『你不是我的骨肉之親嗎？我如果不立你在我面前作元帥，終身替代約押，就願神處置我，重重地處置我！』」

亦告亞瑪撒曰、爾非我之骨肉乎、如爾不代約押為軍長、恆在我前、願上帝罰我維倍、

亦告亞馬撒曰、爾乃我骨肉之親、我必使爾代約押、恆為軍長、不然願上帝罰我。

亦告亞瑪撒曰、爾乃我骨肉之親、我必立爾代約押、恆在我前為軍長、不然、願天主從重罰我、

And say to Amasa,‘ Are you not my own flesh and blood? May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if you are not the commander of my army for life in place of Joab.’”

Say to Amasa,‘ Aren’t you my own flesh and blood? You will be the commander of my army for life in place of Joab. If that isn’t true, may God punish me greatly.’ ”

And say to Amasa,‘ Are you not my bone and my flesh? God do so to me and more also, if you are not commander of my army from now on in place of Joab.’”

And David told them to tell Amasa,“ Since you are my own flesh and blood, like Joab, may God strike me and even kill me if I do not appoint you as commander of my army in his place.”

And tell Amasa,‘ Aren’t you my flesh and blood? May God punish me and do so severely if you don’t become commander of my army from now on instead of Joab!’”

And say to Amasa,‘ Are you not my bone and my flesh? May God do so to me, and more so, if you will not be commander of the army for me continually, in place of Joab.’ ”

And say to Amasa,‘ Are you not my bone and my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if you are not commander of the army before me continually in place of Joab.’”

And say ye to Amasa, Art thou not my bone and my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab.

And tell Amasa,‘ Aren’t you my flesh and blood? May God punish me and do so severely if you don’t become commander of the army from now on instead of Joab!’”

And say ye to Amasa,[ Art] thou not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab.

Say to Amasa,‘ Are you not my flesh and blood? God will punish me severely, if from this time on you are not the commander of my army in place of Joab!’”

Say to Amasa,‘ Aren’t you my bone and my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if you aren’t captain of the army before me continually instead of Joab.’”

押沙龍立了亞瑪撒統領軍隊，去代替約押。亞瑪撒是一個人名叫以實瑪利人以特拉的兒子；以特拉曾經和拿轄的女兒亞比該同床；這亞比該和約押的母親洗魯雅是姐妹。

洗魯雅的兒子約押統領軍隊；亞希律的兒子約沙法做通知官；

耶洗別就差遣使者去見以利亞說：『明天大約這時候、我若不使你的性命像那些人的性命一樣，願神明這樣懲罰我，並且加倍地懲罰。』

你在哪裏死，我也在哪裏死，也埋葬在哪裏；除了死以外，若有甚麼使你我相分離，願永恆主這樣懲罰我，並且加倍地懲罰。』

約押進了屋子去見王，說：『你今天使你一切僕人的臉面都慚愧了；他們今天搭救了你的性命、你兒女和妻妾的性命；讓你去愛那恨你的人，去恨那愛你的人！因為你今天明明表示你以將軍和臣僕為無物；因為我今天才曉得假如押沙龍活着、我們大家今天都死去，那你就看得順眼了！現在你要出去、說些鼓舞你僕人的心的話；因為我指着永恆主來起誓：你若不出去，今夜就沒有一人會跟你在一處；這對於你的害處就比你從幼年到如今所遭遇的禍患更厲害了。』

願這罪責盤旋在約押頭上、和他父系全家；又願約押家不斷有患漏症的、患痲瘋屬之病的、架柺而行的、倒斃於刀下的、缺乏食物的。』約押和他兄弟亞比篩殺了押尼珥，是因為押尼珥在基遍爭鬪時殺死了他們的兄弟亞撒黑的緣故。

約押對報信的人說：『你看，你既看見，為甚麼不在那裏將他擊死落地呢？那樣、我就該給你十錠銀子和一條腰帶了。』

那時上帝的靈覆被在那三十個勇士的首領亞瑪撒身上，亞瑪撒就說：『大衛啊，我們是歸你的；耶西的兒子啊，我們是擁護你的；願你平安興隆；願幫助你的也都平安興隆；因為你的上帝幫助着你。』大衛就收留他們，立他們在遊擊隊首領之列。

他們的姐妹是洗魯雅和亞比該。洗魯雅的兒子是亞比篩、約押、亞撒黑，三個人。亞比該生亞瑪撒，亞瑪撒的父親是以實瑪利人益帖。
