大卫王吩咐约押、亚比筛和以太说：“你们要看在我的份上对年轻的押沙龙手下留情。”全体的军兵都听见了大卫吩咐众将领的话。

王吩咐约押、亚比筛和以太说：“为我的缘故，你们要宽待那年轻人押沙龙。”王为押沙龙吩咐众将领的话，众人都听到了。

王囑咐約押、亞比篩、以太說：「你們要為我的緣故寬待那少年人押沙龍。」王為押沙龍囑咐眾將的話，兵都聽見了。

王囑咐約押、亞比篩、以太說：「你們要為我的緣故寬待那年輕人押沙龍。」王為押沙龍的事囑咐眾將領的話，所有的軍兵都聽見了。

王吩咐約押、亞比篩、乙太說：『你們要為我的緣故輕輕處置孩子押沙龍。』關於押沙龍的事王吩咐眾將軍的話、兵眾都聽見了。

王吩咐約押、亞比篩和伊太說：「要為我的緣故寬待那年輕人押沙龍。」王為押沙龍吩咐所有將領的話，所有軍兵也都聽到了。

王命約押亞比篩以太曰、爾緣我故、寬待少者押沙龍、王為押沙龍囑諸將、民悉聞之、

王諭約押、亞庇篩、以太、曰、爾緣我故、少者押沙龍姑待以寛。王為押沙龍故囑諸軍長、民悉聽聞。

王囑約押亞比篩以太曰、少者押沙龍、願爾為我寛以待之、王為押沙龍囑諸將、民悉聞之、

The king commanded Joab, Abishai and Ittai,“ Be gentle with the young man Absalom for my sake.” And all the troops heard the king giving orders concerning Absalom to each of the commanders.

The king gave an order to Joab, Abishai and Ittai. He commanded them,“ Be gentle with the young man Absalom. Do it for me.” All the troops heard the king give the commanders that order about Absalom.

And the king ordered Joab and Abishai and Ittai,“ Deal gently for my sake with the young man Absalom.” And all the people heard when the king gave orders to all the commanders about Absalom.

And the king gave this command to Joab, Abishai, and Ittai:“ For my sake, deal gently with young Absalom.” And all the troops heard the king give this order to his commanders.

The king commanded Joab, Abishai, and Ittai,“ Treat the young man Absalom gently for my sake.” All the people heard the king’s orders to all the commanders about Absalom.

But the king commanded Joab, Abishai, and Ittai, saying,“ Deal gently with the young man Absalom for my sake.” And all the people heard when the king commanded all the commanders regarding Absalom.

Now the king had commanded Joab, Abishai, and Ittai, saying,“ Deal gently for my sake with the young man Absalom.” And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains orders concerning Absalom.

And the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom.

The king commanded Joab, Abishai, and Ittai,“ Treat the young man Absalom gently for my sake.” All the people heard the king’s orders to all the commanders about Absalom.

And the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying,[ Deal] gently for my sake with the young man,[ even] with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom.

The king gave this order to Joab, Abishai, and Ittai:“ For my sake deal gently with the young man Absalom.” Now the entire army was listening when the king gave all the leaders this order concerning Absalom.

The king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying,“ Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom.” All the people heard when the king commanded all the captains concerning Absalom.

大卫又对亚比筛和众臣仆说：“看哪，我亲生的儿子尚且寻索我的性命，何况现在这便雅悯人呢？由他咒骂吧！因为这是耶和华吩咐他的。

父亲怎样怜悯他的儿女，耶和华也怎样怜悯敬畏他的人！

押沙龙和以色列众人都说：“亚基人户筛的计谋比亚希多弗的更好！”这是因为耶和华定意破坏亚希多弗的良谋，为的是耶和华要降祸给押沙龙。

亚希多弗对押沙龙说：“请让我挑选一万二千人，今夜起身追赶大卫。我必趁他疲乏手软的时候追上他，使他惊惶。跟随他的众百姓必都逃跑，我就只杀王一个人。我必使众百姓都归顺你，正如众人归顺你所追杀的人一样，众百姓就都平安无事了。”这话在押沙龙和以色列众长老的眼中都看为好。

“人若有顽梗忤逆的儿子，不听从父母的话，他们虽然惩戒他，他还是不听从他们，父母就要抓住他，带他出去到当地的城门，本城的长老那里，对本城的长老说：‘我们这个儿子顽梗忤逆，不听从我们的话，是贪食好酒的人。’然后，城里的众人就要用石头将他打死。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉，全以色列听见了都要害怕。”

那人对约押说：“即使我手里得了一千银子，也不敢伸手害王的儿子，因为我们听见王嘱咐你、亚比筛、以太说：‘你们要谨慎，不可害那年轻人押沙龙。’

这时，耶稣说：“父啊！赦免他们，因为他们所做的，他们不知道。”〕士兵就抽签分他的衣服。
