The watchman said,“ The way the first man runs looks to me like the way Ahimaaz son of Zadok runs.”“ This is a good man; he comes with good news,” the king commented.

守望的人说：“我看前头人的跑法，好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯的跑法一样。”王说：“他是个好人，必是报好信息。”

守望的人说：“我看前面那人的跑法，好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯的跑法。”王说：“他是个好人，是来报好消息的。”

守望的人说：“我看前面那人的跑法，好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯的跑法。”王说：“他是个好人，是来报好消息的。”

守卫又说：“从跑的姿势看，那跑在前面的人好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯。”王说：“他是个好人，他一定带来了好消息。”

守望的人说：“我看前头那人的跑法好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯的跑法一样。”王说：“他是个好人，必是带好消息来的。”

守望的人說：「我看前頭人的跑法，好像撒督的兒子亞希瑪斯的跑法一樣。」王說：「他是個好人，必是報好信息。」

守望的人說：「我看前面那人的跑法，好像撒督的兒子亞希瑪斯的跑法。」王說：「他是個好人，是來報好消息的。」

守望者曰、我視在前者、其趨之勢、如撒督子亞希瑪斯然、王曰、彼善人也、必報嘉音、

戍卒曰、我視首趨者之步履、與撒督子亞希馬斯無異。王曰、彼善人也、必報嘉音。

遼望者曰、我觀前趨者、其趨似撒督子亞希瑪斯之趨、王曰、彼乃善人、必報佳消息、

The watchman said,“ It seems to me that the first one runs like Ahimaaz son of Zadok.”“ He’s a good man,” the king said.“ He comes with good news.”

The man on guard duty said,“ I can see that the first one runs like Ahimaaz, the son of Zadok.”“ He’s a good man,” the king said.“ He’s bringing good news.”

The watchman said,“ I think the running of the first is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.” And the king said,“ He is a good man and comes with good news.”

“ The first man runs like Ahimaaz son of Zadok,” the watchman said.“ He is a good man and comes with good news,” the king replied.

The watchman said,“ The way the first man runs looks to me like the way Ahimaaz son of Zadok runs.”“ This is a good man; he comes with good news,” the king commented.

The watchman said,“ I think the running form of the first one is like the running form of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.” And the king said,“ This is a good man, and he is coming with good news.”

So the watchman said,“ I think the running of the first is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.” And the king said,“ He is a good man, and comes with good news.”

And the watchman said, I think the running of the foremost is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok. And the king said, He is a good man, and cometh with good tidings.

And the watchman said, Me thinketh the running of the foremost is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok. And the king said, He[ is] a good man, and cometh with good tidings.

The watchman said,“ It appears to me that the first runner is Ahimaaz son of Zadok.” The king said,“ He is a good man, and he comes with good news.”

The watchman said,“ I think the running of the first one is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.” The king said,“ He is a good man, and comes with good news.”

Again the watchman reported,“ He reached them but hasn’t started back. Also, the driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi— he drives like a madman.”

He was still speaking when Jonathan son of Abiathar the priest, suddenly arrived. Adonijah said,“ Come in, for you are an excellent man, and you must be bringing good news.”

And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who announce the gospel of good things!

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the herald, who proclaims peace, who brings news of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion,“ Your God reigns!”

Good news from a distant land is like cold water to a parched throat.

To those who send him, a trustworthy messenger is like the coolness of snow on a harvest day; he refreshes the life of his masters.
