於是王出去坐在城門口，眾人聽說後，都來到他面前。這時，跟隨押沙龍的以色列人都各自逃回家去了。

因此，論到猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬，耶和華說：「沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，我的弟兄啊！唉，我的姊妹啊！』沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，主人啊！唉，他的尊榮！』你必像死驢一樣被拖到耶路撒冷的城門外，曝屍荒野。」

義人流芳於世，惡人名聲朽爛。
