約押說：“我不能與你這樣耽誤時間。”於是約押手裡拿起三根短矛，趁押沙龍還懸掛在橡樹上活著的時候，就刺透了他的心。

约押说：“我不能与你留连。”约押手拿三杆短枪，趁押沙龙在橡树上还活着，就刺透他的心。

约押说：“我不能在你面前这样耗下去！”约押手拿三枝短枪，趁押沙龙在橡树上还活着，就刺透他的心。

约押说：“我不能在你面前这样耗下去！”约押手拿三枝短枪，趁押沙龙在橡树上还活着，就刺透他的心。

约押说：“我不跟你浪费时间。”趁着押沙龙还吊在橡树上，他拿起三杆矛枪剌入了他的心脏。

約押說：『我不能這樣跟你遲延觀望的。』約押手裏拿着三根箭，趁着押沙龍在篤耨香樹中心還活着，便戳透押沙龍的心。

約押說：「我不再與你這樣耽擱了。」於是他手中拿了三根短矛，趁押沙龍還掛在橡樹上活著的時候，把短矛刺進他的心臟。

約押曰、我不可與爾遲延、遂執三戈而往、時、押沙龍懸於橡樹、氣猶未絕、則刺其胸、

約押曰、我不可遲延。遂執三戈、見押沙龍懸於橡中、氣猶未絕、則剸其腹。

約押曰、我不可與爾遲留、遂執三槍、刺入押沙龍之胸、時押沙龍懸於橡樹尚未死、

Joab said,“ I’m not going to wait like this for you.” So he took three javelins in his hand and plunged them into Absalom’s heart while Absalom was still alive in the oak tree.

Joab said,“ I’m not going to waste any more time on you.” So he got three javelins. Then he went over and plunged them into Absalom’s heart. He did it while Absalom was still hanging there alive in the oak tree.

Joab said,“ I will not waste time like this with you.” And he took three javelins in his hand and thrust them into the heart of Absalom while he was still alive in the oak.

“ Enough of this nonsense,” Joab said. Then he took three daggers and plunged them into Absalom’s heart as he dangled, still alive, in the great tree.

Joab said,“ I’m not going to waste time with you!” He then took three spears in his hand and thrust them into Absalom’s chest. While Absalom was still alive in the oak tree,

Then Joab said,“ I will not waste time here with you.” So he took three spears in his hand and thrust them through the heart of Absalom while he was still alive in the midst of the oak.

Then Joab said,“ I cannot linger with you.” And he took three spears in his hand and thrust them through Absalom’s heart, while he was still alive in the midst of the terebinth tree.

Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak.

Joab said,“ I’m not going to waste time with you!” He then took three spears in his hand and thrust them into Absalom’s heart while he was still alive in the oak tree,

Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he[ was] yet alive in the midst of the oak.

Joab replied,“ I will not wait around like this for you!” He took three spears in his hand and thrust them into the middle of Absalom while he was still alive in the middle of the oak tree.

Then Joab said,“ I’m not going to wait like this with you.” He took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the middle of the oak.

於是押沙龍對僕人說：“你們看，約押的一塊田和我相鄰，田裡有大麥。你們去放火燒田！”押沙龍的僕人就放火把那塊田燒了。

耶和華啊，願你所有的仇敵都這樣滅亡；願愛他的人像太陽出現，大有能力。”於是國中太平了四十年。

王吩咐約押、亞比篩和以太說：“為我的緣故，你們要寬待那年輕人押沙龍。”王為押沙龍吩咐眾將領的話，眾人都聽到了。

約拿怎樣三日三夜在大魚的腹中，人子也要照樣三日三夜在地裡。

人正在說平安穩妥的時候，毀滅性的災禍就突然臨到他們，好像生產的痛苦臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕不能逃脫。

你的箭銳利，射中了王的仇敵的心；萬民都仆倒在你腳下。

希伯的妻子雅億取了一根帳棚的橛子，手裡拿著鎚子，靜悄悄地走到西西拉那裡，把橛子釘在他的太陽穴裡，直釘入地裡；因為西西拉疲乏熟睡，就這樣死了。

她伸手拿著帳棚的橛子，右手拿著匠人的鎚子，擊打西西拉，打破他的頭，粉碎他的頭顱，貫穿他的鬢角。
