I would attack him while he is weary and weak. I would strike him with terror, and then all the people with him will flee. I would strike down only the king

那時，耶穌對他們說：「今天晚上，你們都將因我被絆倒，因為經上記著：『我將擊打牧人，群羊就被分散。』

「可是那些農夫看見他的兒子，就彼此說：『這是繼承人。來，我們把他殺了，占有他的繼業！』

也不想一想，一個人替民眾死，免得全民族滅亡，這對你們是有益處的。」

耶穌知道就要臨到自己的一切，於是上前對他們說：「你們找誰？」他們回答：「拿撒勒人耶穌。」耶穌說：「我就是。」出賣他的猶大也與他們站在一起。耶穌一說「我就是」，他們就往後退，倒在地上。於是耶穌又問：「你們找誰？」他們說：「拿撒勒人耶穌。」耶穌回答：「我已經告訴你們『我就是』。因此，你們如果找我，就讓這些人走吧！」
