你流扫罗全家的血，接续他作王；耶和华把这罪归在你身上，将这国交给你儿子押沙龙。现在你自取其祸，因为你是流人血的人。”

爾代掃羅為王、今耶和華將掃羅家之血、悉歸於爾、以此國付於爾子押沙龍、爾流血之人、自取其禍也、

爾戮掃羅全家、移其國祚、今耶和華已報其仇、以爾國位、與子押沙龍、惟爾殘忍、自取咎戾。

爾殘殺掃羅家、奪其國、代之為王、今主報復爾、以國賜爾子押沙龍、爾乃殘忍之人、今遭惡報、

The Lord has repaid you for all the blood you shed in the household of Saul, in whose place you have reigned. The Lord has given the kingdom into the hands of your son Absalom. You have come to ruin because you are a murderer!”

You spilled the blood of a lot of people in Saul’s family. You took over his kingdom. Now the Lord is paying you back. He has handed the kingdom over to your son Absalom. You have been destroyed because you are a murderer!”

The Lord has avenged on you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned, and the Lord has given the kingdom into the hand of your son Absalom. See, your evil is on you, for you are a man of blood.”

“ The Lord is paying you back for all the bloodshed in Saul’s clan. You stole his throne, and now the Lord has given it to your son Absalom. At last you will taste some of your own medicine, for you are a murderer!”

The LORD has punished you for all the spilled blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you rule. Now the LORD has given the kingdom into the hand of your son Absalom. Disaster has overtaken you, for you are a man of bloodshed!”

Yahweh has returned on you all the blood of Saul’s house, in whose place you have reigned! Yahweh has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!”

So David said to him,“ Your blood is on your own head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have killed the Lord’s anointed.’”

Thus God repaid the wickedness of Abimelech, which he had done to his father by killing his seventy brothers.And all the evil of the men of Shechem God returned on their own heads, and on them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.

So the Lord will return his blood on his head, because he struck down two men more righteous and better than he, and killed them with the sword— Abner the son of Ner, the commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, the commander of the army of Judah— though my father David did not know it.Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab and upon the head of his descendants forever. But upon David and his descendants, upon his house and his throne, there shall be peace forever from the Lord.”

Afterward, when David heard it, he said,“ My kingdom and I are guiltless before the Lord forever of the blood of Abner the son of Ner.Let it rest on the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and let there never fail to be in the house of Joab one who has a discharge or is a leper, who leans on a staff or falls by the sword, or who lacks bread.”

that the crime done to the seventy sons of Jerubbaal might be settled and their blood be laid on Abimelech their brother, who killed them, and on the men of Shechem, who aided him in the killing of his brothers.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”

and he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them on the hill before the Lord. So they fell, all seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, in the beginning of barley harvest.

So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another,“ No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.”But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm.

And they brought the head of Ishbosheth to David at Hebron, and said to the king,“ Here is the head of Ishbosheth, the son of Saul your enemy, who sought your life; and the Lord has avenged my Lord the king this day of Saul and his descendants.”But David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them,“ As the Lord lives, who has redeemed my life from all adversity,when someone told me, saying,‘ Look, Saul is dead,’ thinking to have brought good news, I arrested him and had him executed in Ziklag— the one who thought I would give him a reward for his news.How much more, when wicked men have killed a righteous person in his own house on his bed? Therefore, shall I not now require his blood at your hand and remove you from the earth?”So David commanded his young men, and they executed them, cut off their hands and feet, and hanged them by the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth and buried it in the tomb of Abner in Hebron.

How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness And seek falsehood? Selah
