The LORD hath returned upon thee all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose stead thou hast reigned; and the LORD hath delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom thy son: and, behold, thou[ art taken] in thy mischief, because thou[ art] a bloody man.

你杀扫罗的家人，夺其王位，耶和华报应了你，把江山交给了你儿子押沙龙。你这杀人凶手是自食恶果！”

你流了扫罗全家的血，接替扫罗作王，耶和华已经把这罪报应在你身上；耶和华已经把这国交在你儿子押沙龙的手里。看哪！你现在自取其祸了，因为你是个流人血的人。”

爾代掃羅為王、今耶和華將掃羅家之血、悉歸於爾、以此國付於爾子押沙龍、爾流血之人、自取其禍也、

爾戮掃羅全家、移其國祚、今耶和華已報其仇、以爾國位、與子押沙龍、惟爾殘忍、自取咎戾。

爾殘殺掃羅家、奪其國、代之為王、今主報復爾、以國賜爾子押沙龍、爾乃殘忍之人、今遭惡報、

The Lord has repaid you for all the blood you shed in the household of Saul, in whose place you have reigned. The Lord has given the kingdom into the hands of your son Absalom. You have come to ruin because you are a murderer!”

You spilled the blood of a lot of people in Saul’s family. You took over his kingdom. Now the Lord is paying you back. He has handed the kingdom over to your son Absalom. You have been destroyed because you are a murderer!”

The Lord has avenged on you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned, and the Lord has given the kingdom into the hand of your son Absalom. See, your evil is on you, for you are a man of blood.”

“ The Lord is paying you back for all the bloodshed in Saul’s clan. You stole his throne, and now the Lord has given it to your son Absalom. At last you will taste some of your own medicine, for you are a murderer!”

The LORD has punished you for all the spilled blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you rule. Now the LORD has given the kingdom into the hand of your son Absalom. Disaster has overtaken you, for you are a man of bloodshed!”

Yahweh has returned on you all the blood of Saul’s house, in whose place you have reigned! Yahweh has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!”

And David said unto him, Thy blood[ be] upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD’S anointed.

Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren:And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.

And the LORD shall return his blood upon his own head, who fell upon two men more righteous and better than he, and slew them with the sword, my father David not knowing[ thereof, to wit], Abner the son of Ner, captain of the host of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the host of Judah.Their blood shall therefore return upon the head of Joab, and upon the head of his seed for ever: but upon David, and upon his seed, and upon his house, and upon his throne, shall there be peace for ever from the LORD.

And afterward when David heard[ it], he said, I and my kingdom[ are] guiltless before the LORD for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner:Let it rest on the head of Joab, and on all his father’s house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that hath an issue, or that is a leper, or that leaneth on a staff, or that falleth on the sword, or that lacketh bread.

That the cruelty[ done] to the threescore and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother, which slew them; and upon the men of Shechem, which aided him in the killing of his brethren.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD: and they fell[ all] seven together, and were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first[ days], in the beginning of barley harvest.

And when the barbarians saw the[ venomous] beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them,[ As] the LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity,When one told me, saying, Behold, Saul is dead, thinking to have brought good tidings, I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who[ thought] that I would have given him a reward for his tidings:How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth?And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged[ them] up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried[ it] in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.

O ye sons of men, how long[ will ye turn] my glory into shame?[ how long] will ye love vanity,[ and] seek after leasing? Selah.
