王問說：『你主人的兒子在哪裏？』洗巴對王說：『你看，他還在耶路撒冷；因為他心裏說：「以色列家今日必將我父的國歸還給我。」』

王问说：“你主人的儿子在哪里呢？”洗巴回答王说：“他仍在耶路撒冷，因他说：‘以色列人今日必将我父的国归还我。’”

王说：“你主人的儿子在哪里呢？”洗巴对王说：“看哪，他留在耶路撒冷，因他说：‘以色列家今日必将我父的国归还我。’”

王说：“你主人的儿子在哪里呢？”洗巴对王说：“看哪，他留在耶路撒冷，因他说：‘以色列家今日必将我父的国归还我。’”

王又问他：“你主人的孙子米非波设在哪里？”洗巴说：“他在耶路撒冷，因为他相信现在以色列人会把他祖父的国归还给他。”

王又问：“你主人的孙子米非波设在哪里？”洗巴回答王说：“唉！他还留在耶路撒冷，因为他心里想：‘今日以色列家会把我祖父扫罗的王国归还给我。’”

王問說：「你主人的兒子在哪裏呢？」洗巴回答王說：「他仍在耶路撒冷，因他說：『以色列人今日必將我父的國歸還我。』」

王說：「你主人的兒子在哪裏呢？」洗巴對王說：「看哪，他留在耶路撒冷，因他說：『以色列家今日必將我父的國歸還我。』」

王說：「你主人的兒子在哪裏呢？」洗巴對王說：「看哪，他留在耶路撒冷，因他說：『以色列家今日必將我父的國歸還我。』」

王又問他：「你主人的孫子米非波設在哪裡？」洗巴說：「他在耶路撒冷，因為他相信現在以色列人會把他祖父的國歸還給他。」

王又問：“你主人的孫子米非波設在哪裡？”洗巴回答王說：“唉！他還留在耶路撒冷，因為他心裡想：‘今日以色列家會把我祖父掃羅的王國歸還給我。’”

王問：「你主人的兒子在哪裡？」洗巴回答王：「看哪，他留在耶路撒冷，因為他說：『今天以色列家必將我父的王權歸還我。』」

王曰、爾主之子安在、曰、在耶路撒冷、蓋曰、今日以色列家、必以父之國反我、

王曰、爾主之孫何在。曰、在耶路撒冷、彼曰、今日以色列族、必以祖之國祚、仍歸乎我。

王曰、爾主人子安在、洗巴對王曰、今居耶路撒冷、彼曰、今日以色列人、必以我父之國反我、

The king then asked,“ Where is your master’s grandson?” Ziba said to him,“ He is staying in Jerusalem, because he thinks,‘ Today the Israelites will restore to me my grandfather’s kingdom.’”

Then the king asked,“ Where is your master’s grandson Mephibosheth?” Ziba said to him,“ He’s staying in Jerusalem. He thinks,‘ Today the Israelites will cause me to rule once again over my grandfather Saul’s kingdom.’ ”

And the king said,“ And where is your master’s son?” Ziba said to the king,“ Behold, he remains in Jerusalem, for he said,‘ Today the house of Israel will give me back the kingdom of my father.’”

“ And where is Mephibosheth, Saul’s grandson?” the king asked him.“ He stayed in Jerusalem,” Ziba replied.“ He said,‘ Today I will get back the kingdom of my grandfather Saul.’”

“ Where is your master’s grandson?” the king asked.“ Why, he’s staying in Jerusalem,” Ziba replied to the king,“ for he said,‘ Today, the house of Israel will restore my grandfather’s kingdom to me.’”

Then the king said,“ And where is your master’s son?” And Ziba said to the king,“ Behold, he is staying in Jerusalem, for he said,‘ Today the house of Israel will restore the kingdom of my father to me.’ ”

Then the king said,“ And where is your master’s son?” And Ziba said to the king,“ Indeed he is staying in Jerusalem, for he said,‘ Today the house of Israel will restore the kingdom of my father to me.’”

And the king said, And where is thy master’s son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem; for he said, To- day will the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.

“ Where is your master’s grandson?” the king asked.“ Why, he’s staying in Jerusalem,” Ziba replied to the king,“ for he said,‘ Today, the house of Israel will restore my grandfather’s kingdom to me.’”

And the king said, And where[ is] thy master’s son? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he abideth at Jerusalem: for he said, To day shall the house of Israel restore me the kingdom of my father.

The king asked,“ Where is your master’s grandson?” Ziba replied to the king,“ He remains in Jerusalem, for he said,‘ Today the house of Israel will give back to me my grandfather’s kingdom.’”

The king said,“ Where is your master’s son?” Ziba said to the king,“ Behold, he is staying in Jerusalem; for he said,‘ Today the house of Israel will restore me the kingdom of my father.’”

王召了掃羅的僮僕洗巴來，對他說：『我已將屬掃羅和他全家的都賜給你主人的兒子了。你和你眾子和僕人都要為他耕地，收進五穀，使你主人的眾子有飯喫；至於你主人的兒子米非波設、他卻要經常在我席上喫飯。』洗巴有十五個兒子、二十個僕人。

你使我的愛友良朋都跟我遠離，我的知己都在黑暗地方。

暗中誹謗鄰舍的、我必剪滅；眼目高傲、心裏驕縱的、我必不容。

他不以舌頭讒毁人，不惡待朋友，也不襲取閒話去毁謗鄰近；

『不可作假見證陷害你的鄰舍。

審判官要仔細查究；如果那見證人是個假的見證人作假見證控訴他的族弟兄，那麼你們就要照他所圖謀要待族弟兄的去待他；這樣、你就把那壞事從你中間肅清了。

虛謊的見證人必滅沒；惟獨親耳聽的人能永久說話。

這些人有禍啊！因為他們走該隱的路；為了工錢向着巴蘭的謬妄狂奔；就在可拉的頂撞中滅亡了。

但那些定意要致富的人就陷落試誘和網羅、跟許多無知而有害的私慾、令人沉沒於敗壞和滅亡中的私慾。因為貪財即是萬惡之根；有人一心要貪財，就受迷離背了信仰，拿許多傷痛刺透了自己。

掃羅的孫子米非波設也下去迎接王；他自從王出走的日子、到王平平安安回來的日子，都沒有修腳，沒有修鬍鬚，也沒有洗衣服。他從耶路撒冷來迎接王的時候，王問他說：『米非波設，你為甚麼沒有和我一同去呢？』他回答說：『我主我王，我的僕人哄騙了我了；因為你僕人吩咐他說：「給我豫備好了一匹驢，我好騎上，跟王一同去」；因為你僕人瘸腿；無奈他竟哄騙了我。他又向我主我王讒毁了你僕人；然而我主我王如同上帝的使者一般。如今你看怎樣好，就怎樣行吧。因為我祖我父全家在我主我王面前不過是該死的人；王卻使僕人列在王席上喫飯的人中間。我還有甚麼權利再向王哀呼呢？』王對他說：『你何必再說起你的事來呢？我告訴你說吧：『你和洗巴要平分地土呢。』米非波設對王說：『我主我王既平平安安地回宮，就讓洗巴都取好啦。』

凡以強暴得財利的、所行的路都是如此：那財利把得財者的性命奪了去。

不要信靠你的同伴，不要信任你的友人；要守住你的嘴脣，別向躺在你懷中的妻子透露。
