大卫回到耶路撒冷的宫里，把从前留下来看守王宫的十个妃嫔关进冷宫，供养她们，却不再和她们同房。她们像寡妇一样在软禁中度过余生。

他们的表情显出他们心术不正，他们跟所多玛人一样对自己的罪恶津津乐道，毫不隐瞒。他们必大祸临头，自招毁灭。

摩西和以色列全体会众正在会幕门口痛哭的时候，有个以色列人当着他们的面把一个米甸女子带进自家的帐篷。

一天黄昏，大卫从床上起来在王宫顶上散步，看见一个长得非常漂亮的女人在沐浴。

他们的神就是自己的肚腹，他们以自己的羞耻为荣，只想着地上的事，他们的结局是灭亡。

因此，秋雨不降，春雨不来。你却仍然不知羞耻，一副娼妓的嘴脸。

这城沾满血腥，任凭受害者的血流在光秃秃的磐石上，而不是流在地上用土掩盖。

他们做可憎的事会羞愧吗？不！他们不知廉耻，毫不脸红。因此，他们要与其他人一样灭亡，死在我的惩罚下。这是耶和华说的。
