因為他今天已經下去，宰獻了許多公牛、肥畜、和羊，請了王的眾兒子、和軍長、以及祭司亞比亞他；看哪，他們正在亞多尼雅面前喫喝，說：「願亞多尼雅王萬歲！」呢。

但以理同王說：『願王萬歲！

於是這些總長和總督就彼此串通來見王，對他說：『願大利烏王萬歲！

迦勒底博學的人就用亞蘭語對王說：『願王萬歲！請將那夢告訴僕人，僕人就可以把解析講明白。』

太后因王和他的大臣所說的話，就進了宴宮；太后應時說：『願王萬歲！你的思想可別使你驚惶哦；氣色可不要變哦！

在那裏、祭司撒督和神言人拿單要膏立他為王來管理以色列；你們也要吹號角，說：「願所羅門王萬歲！」

於是大衛的心腹戶篩就進城；押沙龍也進了耶路撒冷。

前行後隨的羣眾都喊着說：『願頌讚歸於大衛的子孫哦！奉主名來的是當受祝頌的！在至高之處獻頌讚哦！』
