耶何耶大祭司領王子出來，給他戴上王冠，把律法書交給他，膏立他為王。眾人都鼓掌高呼：「願王萬歲！」

撒母耳對百姓說：「這就是耶和華為你們選的人。在以色列沒有人能比得上他。」眾人高呼：「願王萬歲！」

他今天宰了許多牛羊和肥犢獻祭，宴請眾王子、將領和亞比亞他祭司，他們正在他那裡一邊吃喝一邊說，『亞多尼雅王萬歲！』

但以理對王說：「願王萬歲！

於是，這些總長和總督齊來見王，說：「願大流士王萬歲！

占星家用亞蘭話對王說：「願王萬歲！請將夢告訴僕人，僕人好解釋夢的意思。」

太后聽到王和大臣的喊聲，便來到宴會廳，對王說：「願王萬歲！不要驚慌失色。

撒督祭司和拿單先知要在那裡膏立他為以色列王。你們要吹響號角，高喊，『所羅門王萬歲！』

於是，大衛的朋友戶篩便回到城裡。那時，押沙龍也進了耶路撒冷。

眾人前呼後擁，歡呼著說：「和散那歸於大衛的後裔！奉主名來的當受稱頌！和散那歸於至高之處的上帝！」
