惟爾上帝耶和華愛爾、不聽巴蘭、變詛為祝、

垂顧我苦勞、赦宥我罪戾兮、

我儕知萬事同工、以益夫愛上帝者、即依其旨而蒙召者也、

彼乃暫依己意而懲、惟此則為我之益、使我與其聖也、

許願曰、萬軍之耶和華歟、如爾垂顧婢苦、憶我弗忘、賜婢生男、則必奉之耶和華、至於畢生、薙髮之刀、不加其首、

耶和華擊之、豈若擊彼擊之者乎、其見殺也、豈若殺之者之見殺乎、
