When David had gone a short distance beyond the summit, there was Ziba, the steward of Mephibosheth, waiting to meet him. He had a string of donkeys saddled and loaded with two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred cakes of raisins, a hundred cakes of figs and a skin of wine.

David went just beyond the top of the Mount of Olives. Ziba was waiting there to meet him. He was Mephibosheth’s manager. He had several donkeys with saddles on them. They were carrying 200 loaves of bread and 100 raisin cakes. They were also carrying 100 fig cakes and a bottle of wine. The bottle was made out of animal skin.

When David had passed a little beyond the summit, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of donkeys saddled, bearing two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred bunches of raisins, a hundred of summer fruits, and a skin of wine.

When David had gone a little beyond the summit of the Mount of Olives, Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth, was waiting there for him. He had two donkeys loaded with 200 loaves of bread, 100 clusters of raisins, 100 bunches of summer fruit, and a wineskin full of wine.

Now when David had gone on a little beyond the summit, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him with a team of saddled donkeys, and on them were two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred cakes of raisins, a hundred summer fruits, and a jug of wine.

When David was a little past the top of the mountain, there was Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth, who met him with a couple of saddled donkeys, and on them two hundred loaves of bread, one hundred clusters of raisins, one hundred summer fruits, and a skin of wine.

And when David was a little past the top of the ascent, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred clusters of raisins, and a hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

And when David was a little past the top[ of the hill], behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred[ loaves] of bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

When David had gone a short way beyond the summit, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth was there to meet him. He had a couple of donkeys that were saddled, and on them were two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred raisin cakes, a hundred baskets of summer fruit, and a container of wine.

When David was a little past the top, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him with a couple of donkeys saddled, and on them two hundred loaves of bread, and one hundred clusters of raisins, and one hundred summer fruits, and a container of wine.

亞比該急忙將二百個餅、兩皮袋酒、五隻收拾好了的羊、五斗焙好了的穀子、一百團葡萄乾、二百球無花果乾、都馱在驢上；

大衛來到山頂上敬拜上帝的地方；有亞基人戶篩、內褂撕裂、頭上放土、來迎接他。

大衛由橄欖山的上坡上去：一面上去，一面哭；蒙着頭，赤着腳；跟從他的眾民也都蒙着頭上去：一面上去，一面哭。

掃羅家有一個僕人名叫洗巴；有人叫他來見大衛；王問他說：『你是洗巴不是？』他說：『僕人就是。』王說：『掃羅家還有人沒有？我要照上帝的慈愛待他。』洗巴對王說：『還有約拿單的一個兒子、是兩腳殘廢的。』王說：『他在哪裏？』洗巴對王說：『他在羅底巴亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裏。』於是大衛王打發人從羅底巴亞米利的兒子瑪吉家裏將他接來。掃羅的孫子約拿單的兒子米非波設來見大衛，便伏臉叩拜；大衛說：『米非波設。』米非波設說：『看哪，僕人在這裏。』大衛對他說：『你不要怕；我一定要因你父親約拿單的緣故以厚愛待你，將你祖父掃羅的一切田地都歸還你；你也可以經常在我席上喫飯。』米非波設又叩拜說：『僕人算甚麼，王竟垂顧像我這樣的一隻死狗啊！』王召了掃羅的僮僕洗巴來，對他說：『我已將屬掃羅和他全家的都賜給你主人的兒子了。你和你眾子和僕人都要為他耕地，收進五穀，使你主人的眾子有飯喫；至於你主人的兒子米非波設、他卻要經常在我席上喫飯。』洗巴有十五個兒子、二十個僕人。洗巴對王說：『凡我主我王所吩咐僕人的、僕人都要照行。』於是米非波設在大衛席上喫飯，如同王的兒子一樣。米非波設有一個小兒子名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家裏的人都作了米非波設的僕人。這樣、米非波設就住在耶路撒冷，因為他經常在王的席上喫飯，雖然他兩腿都瘸。

王以公平使國立定；一個逼索稅貢的、使國翻毁。人以諂媚引誘鄰舍，是設羅網去絆他的腳步。

至於我呢，我要住在米斯巴，來侍立在那些將會到我們這裏來的迦勒底人面前；你們呢、務要積聚着酒、油、和夏天的果子，放在器皿裏，住在你們所佔據的城市中。

有禍啊我！我好像夏天的果子已被收盡，好像割取了葡萄剩下的零碎，沒有一掛可喫的，也沒有我心所羨慕的早熟無花果。

有一天，耶西對他兒子大衛說：『你拿這一伊法焙了的穀子、和這十個餅去給你哥哥們，要迅速地送到營裏去給你哥哥們。也要把這十塊乾酪帶去送千夫長，查看你哥哥們平安不，向他們要個憑證來。

大衛到了瑪哈念，亞捫族的拉巴人拿轄的兒子朔比、羅底巴人亞米利的兒子瑪吉、基列的羅基琳人巴西萊、帶着床鋪、被單碗盆、瓦器、小麥、大麥、麵粉、焙穀、豆子、紅豆、蜜、奶酪、綿羊、牛的乾酪，給大衛和跟隨的人喫；因為他們說：『眾民在曠野一定饑渴困倦的。』

耶西把十個餅一皮袋酒、一隻母山羊羔、由他兒子大衛經手、送給掃羅。

主永恆主又這樣使我看見：看哪，有一籠夏天果子呢。

人的禮物使他的路寬闊，引他到大人物面前。

這一切猶大人就從所放逐到的各地方回來，到猶大地、到米斯巴來見基大利；積聚着很多的酒和夏天的果子。

你從那裏往前行，到了他泊的聖篤耨香樹那裏；必遇見三個人要上伯特利去拜上帝，一個帶着三隻山羊羔，一個帶着三個餅，一個帶着一皮袋酒。

在他們附近的人、甚至以薩迦、西布倫、拿弗他利人、也帶了食物來，用驢、駱駝、騾子、牛、將麵食、無花果乾、葡萄乾、酒、油、馱了來，又牽了許多牛和羊來；因為以色列中很歡樂。

巴西萊非常老邁，已經八十歲。王住在瑪哈念的時候，是他供養王的：因為他是個極大的財主。
