When David had gone a short distance beyond the summit, there was Ziba, the steward of Mephibosheth, waiting to meet him. He had a string of donkeys saddled and loaded with two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred cakes of raisins, a hundred cakes of figs and a skin of wine.

David went just beyond the top of the Mount of Olives. Ziba was waiting there to meet him. He was Mephibosheth’s manager. He had several donkeys with saddles on them. They were carrying 200 loaves of bread and 100 raisin cakes. They were also carrying 100 fig cakes and a bottle of wine. The bottle was made out of animal skin.

When David had passed a little beyond the summit, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of donkeys saddled, bearing two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred bunches of raisins, a hundred of summer fruits, and a skin of wine.

When David had gone a little beyond the summit of the Mount of Olives, Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth, was waiting there for him. He had two donkeys loaded with 200 loaves of bread, 100 clusters of raisins, 100 bunches of summer fruit, and a wineskin full of wine.

扫罗家有一个仆人，名叫洗巴，有人叫他来见大卫，王问他说：“你是洗巴吗？”回答说：“仆人是。”王说：“扫罗家还有人没有？我要照神的慈爱恩待他。”洗巴对王说：“还有约拿单的一个儿子，是瘸腿的。”王说：“他在哪里？”洗巴对王说：“他在罗底巴，亚米利的儿子玛吉家里。”于是大卫王打发人去，从罗底巴亚米利的儿子玛吉家里召了他来。扫罗的孙子、约拿单的儿子米非波设来见大卫，伏地叩拜。大卫说：“米非波设！”米非波设说：“仆人在此。”大卫说：“你不要惧怕，我必因你父亲约拿单的缘故施恩与你，将你祖父扫罗的一切田地都归还你；你也可以常与我同席吃饭。”米非波设又叩拜，说：“仆人算什么，不过如死狗一般，竟蒙王这样眷顾！”王召了扫罗的仆人洗巴来，对他说：“我已将属扫罗和他的一切家产都赐给你主人的儿子了。你和你的众子、仆人要为你主人的儿子米非波设耕种田地，把所产的拿来供他食用；他却要常与我同席吃饭。”洗巴有十五个儿子，二十个仆人。洗巴对王说：“凡我主我王吩咐仆人的，仆人都必遵行。”王又说：“米非波设必与我同席吃饭，如王的儿子一样。”米非波设有一个小儿子，名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家里的人都作了米非波设的仆人。于是米非波设住在耶路撒冷，常与王同席吃饭。他两腿都是瘸的。 (cunps)

王藉公平，使国坚定；索要贿赂，使国倾败。谄媚邻舍的，就是设网罗绊他的脚。 (cunps)

至于我，我要住在米斯巴，伺候那到我们这里来的迦勒底人；只是你们当积蓄酒、油，和夏天的果子，收在器皿里，住在你们所占的城邑中。” (cunps)

哀哉！我好像夏天的果子已被收尽，又像摘了葡萄所剩下的，没有一挂可吃的；我心羡慕初熟的无花果。 (cunps)

一日，耶西对他儿子大卫说：“你拿一伊法烘了的穗子和十个饼，速速地送到营里去，交给你哥哥们；再拿这十块奶饼，送给他们的千夫长，且问你哥哥们好，向他们要一封信来。” (cunps)

大卫到了玛哈念，亚扪族的拉巴人拿辖的儿子朔比，罗底巴人亚米利的儿子玛吉，基列的罗基琳人巴西莱，带着被、褥、盆、碗、瓦器、小麦、大麦、麦面、炒谷、豆子、红豆、炒豆、蜂蜜、奶油、绵羊、奶饼，供给大卫和跟随他的人吃；他们说：“民在旷野，必饥渴困乏了。” (cunps)

耶西就把几个饼和一皮袋酒，并一只山羊羔，都驮在驴上，交给他儿子大卫，送与扫罗。 (cunps)

主耶和华又指示我一件事：我看见一筐夏天的果子。 (cunps)

人的礼物为他开路，引他到高位的人面前。 (cunps)

这一切犹大人就从所赶到的各处回来，到犹大地的米斯巴基大利那里，又积蓄了许多的酒，并夏天的果子。 (cunps)

你从那里往前行，到了他泊的橡树那里，必遇见三个往伯特利去拜神的人：一个带着三只山羊羔，一个带着三个饼，一个带着一皮袋酒。 (cunps)

靠近他们的人以及以萨迦、西布伦、拿弗他利人将许多面饼、无花果饼、干葡萄、酒、油，用驴、骆驼、骡子、牛驮来，又带了许多的牛和羊来，因为以色列人甚是欢乐。 (cunps)

巴西莱年纪老迈，已经八十岁了。王住在玛哈念的时候，他就拿食物来供给王；他原是大富户。 (cunps)
