Sometimes people would approach Absalom and bow down to him. Then he would reach out his hand. He would take hold of them and kiss them.

And whenever a man came near to pay homage to him, he would put out his hand and take hold of him and kiss him.

When people tried to bow before him, Absalom wouldn’t let them. Instead, he took them by the hand and kissed them.

like a lion in cover he lies in wait. He lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.His victims are crushed, they collapse; they fall under his strength.
