王又對祭司撒督說：『你看明白麼？你和亞比亞他要安心回城裏去；你兒子亞希瑪斯和亞比亞他的兒子約拿單、你們二人的兒子、都要和你們一同回去。

王對祭司撒督說：「你不是先見嗎？帶著你的兒子亞希瑪斯和亞比亞特的兒子約拿單——你們二人的兒子，平平安安地回城去吧！

又謂祭司撒督曰、爾非先見乎、爾與爾子亞希瑪斯、及亞比亞他子約拿單、安然歸邑、

又謂祭司撒督曰、汝乃先見者、爾與爾子亞希馬斯、及亞庇亞塔子約拿單、安然歸邑。

王又謂祭司撒督曰、爾非明見者乎、可安然歸邑、爾子亞希瑪斯及亞比亞他子約拿單、爾曹之二子、亦可偕爾、

The king also said to Zadok the priest,“ Do you understand? Go back to the city with my blessing. Take your son Ahimaaz with you, and also Abiathar’s son Jonathan. You and Abiathar return with your two sons.

The king said again to Zadok the priest,“ Do you understand? Go back to the city with my blessing. Take your son Ahimaaz with you. Also take Abiathar and his son Jonathan with you.

The king also said to Zadok the priest,“ Are you not a seer? Go back to the city in peace, with your two sons, Ahimaaz your son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

The king also told Zadok the priest,“ Look, here is my plan. You and Abiathar should return quietly to the city with your son Ahimaaz and Abiathar’s son Jonathan.

The king also said to the priest Zadok,“ Look, return to the city in peace and your two sons with you: your son Ahimaaz and Abiathar’s son Jonathan.

The king said also to Zadok the priest,“ Aren’t you a seer? Return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz your son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

Jonathan and Ahimaaz were staying at En-rogel, where a servant girl would come and pass along information to them. They in turn would go and inform King David, because they dared not be seen entering the city.

Formerly in Israel, a man who was going to inquire of God would say,“ Come, let’s go to the seer,” for the prophet of today was formerly called the seer.

Take note: their two sons, Zadok’s son Ahimaaz and Abiathar’s son Jonathan, are there with them. Send me everything you hear through them.”

but if you return to the city and tell Absalom,‘ I will be your servant, my king! Previously, I was your father’s servant, but now I will be your servant,’ then you can counteract Ahithophel’s counsel for me.

All these sons of Heman, the king’s seer, were given by the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
